Emler Swim School of Austin - Anderson Mill reviews
18Love the employees and the cleanliness of the facility. All the swim instructors are Knowledgeable and so nice!
Love this place. The teachers are great! Our son has been swimming with Ms. Michelle for over 2 years, started at 5 months old. The people are so nice and understanding. We will always do lessons at Emler.
Thank you Michelle for always being patient with my kids and always making it fun for them my kids think your an awesome instructor!
But the people in the front have messed up my kid’s schedule multiple times.
My girls love taking swim lessons at Emler! The staff has all been really friendly and helpful with all my questions when we signed up. It is a little pricey, but I do believe you get what you pay for! The classes are small and the instructors pay a lot of attention to each kid. I do wish the classes were a little longer for the price. 30 minutes goes by super quickly, and I think that 45 would be perfect since it's only once a week. The place is mostly clean, although there was spilled food in the changing room that grossed me out a bit since my kids are barefooted. It's nice to be able to sit and watch the kids behind the glass and see what's going on during class!
My daughter has been going here for over 3 years, and has gone through all of the levels up to swim team! She looks forward to swim class every week, and every teacher she has had has been so kind and patient. The kids stay really engaged.
It is not a good place to learn swim due to they do not offer good curriculum, what they do is basically just ask you stay in the pool and kick your legs. Kind of wasting time and money.
We enrolled both of our girls for summer lessons at this location, and our youngest will continue into the fall. Despite living in Bastrop, the long trip north is well worth it! Miss Michelle is an absolutely amazing instructor; my little one absolutely loves her, & has excelled in her swim class.
The chlorine in this pool will give you eczema or acne. They do not clean the pools after bathroom issues and they have never drained the water in the pool. It’s disgusting. I would never swim here again nor will my kids. The teachers have no idea what they’re doing, they will give your kids water trauma rather than help them enjoy the water. This place is a money grabber.
I’m so glad I selected this place for my child’s swimming classes. The classes are small and each child gets the undivided attention they need. My child has really improved his swimming technique. Best swim teachers ever!
We've been regular customers at this location for almost 6 years. The staff is warm and knowledgeable, and it brings me incredible peace of mind to know that my girls are learning real water safety. And not only are they learning to be safe. They have fun doing it!
It is one of the best swim schools for kids. We moved from CA and this school is way better than what we had. In CA we changed 3 schools to find better one and emler is much better than the one in CA. Miss Amber is really good, takes time to observe and correct kid's mistakes. A new rule, if your kid misses a class, you have to pay $15 for makeup. Kids do get sick in a semester and they are definitely going to miss a class or 2. Emler should give at least 1 or 2 make-up classes free in a semester. If not for that rule, I would give a 5 star rating.
My son goes to Emler here and he absolutely loves Ms Amber and Ms Fulori. They are extremely patient with the kids and not only do they make sure that the kids learn but they also make sure that the kids have a fun experience while learning. Highly recommend Ms Amber and Ms Fulori here!
The effort Emler put into getting my boys swimming goes well beyond the money paid and the lessons purchased, the staff (instructors and management) were always "on-it", aware of how they are doing, what needs to be adjusted to help them improve and always super aware of all safety aspects. I will be forever thankful.
My two kids have attended Emler Swim School since they were babies. They have enjoyed each of their classes and all their teachers. As I watch each of the classes each week, I’m always impressed with the amount of patience, knowledge and kindness shown by all instructors. They make it look easy when I know it definitely is not. My son has especially enjoyed having Ms. Valyn as his teacher this semester and my daughter adored Ms. Kacie when she was there! Thank you for all of these wonderful years!
My daugher LOVES swimming class at Emler Swim School. We go to the one up north past the domain. She started at 2 months and loving it ever since. The instructions are great. Classes are small and manageable.
Great customer service. Especially Kalie. Been going here for over a year. Best thing I like about them is make up classes
We have been coming here for years. The instructors are great. They all really care about teaching the students and work with you if you need special attention. The site director is AMAZING (Darcy) and has a phenomenal team behind her.
Both my kids have taken swim lessons at Emler for a couple years, ranging in age from 1 year to 6 years old at the time of lessons. We have had an amazing experience and highly recommend this swim school! My kids love going to their lessons. The staff is super nice and helpful - both in person and over email. All their teachers have been incredible. In addition to showing you something they are working on every week, they call to check in once a semester. Awesome teachers include Shea, Amber, Sophia, Eric, Harini, among others. During class, there is always a deck manager walking around the pool. One day, my daughter didn't want to get in the pool with a substitute teacher (ah, the joys of 3 year olds), and the deck manager jumped into the pool and got her all acclimated and she had an awesome lesson. Can't say enough good things about Emler!
