Emler Swim School of Southlake

We loved the swim classes but once corona hit I’ve learned how poorly they treat their clients. My family got relocated in the beginning of May while the swim school was closed. I left multiple messages in Southlake about a refund. I talked to the call center twice about the issue, I sent a couple of email. One using their website (big mistake because I have no copy of the email in my own folder), I also called countless times and didn’t get an answer. When I finally got a hold of the manger in Southlake on the day school opened back up (end of May) I was told corporate will have to review my request if I submit documentation of the move. Not even my kid’s preschool required the documentation from us to cancel enrollment for summer and fall.
Southlake refuses the refund because it’s only given to military relocation. Corporate says I should have canceled 5 days before the start of the new “summer” session. Conveniently they have no record of my phone calls to the call center, messages I left or the first email I sent.
Side note: every other business I had to talk to during the corona closure had someone at least answering the phone calls, but Emler.
I think it’s not unreasonable to ask for a refund when the school turned the missed lessons into credits and we live on Colorado where there is no Emler.
I had also asked the front desk people on multiple occasions about what happens if we move and I paid for the next session and was told they give refunds.

They treated us disrespectfully and I find the whole company shady. An official complaint was made with BBB.

I recommend Elmer to everyone I meet. Their entire staff has given us such great support. From their managers to their incredible teachers, my boys are safer around the water because of this incredible school. Many, many thanks to the Elmer team!

Such a positive atmosphere. They greet your child by first name at the front desk when you walk in. Also our teacher has been phenomenal. Very pleased!

We currently take our three kiddos to swim at Emler Southlake. We have a four year old, two year old and 4 month old that are learning to be dolphins:) The Emler staff is always friendly and the instructors are great with the kids. Our two daughters were so timid to let us walk away while they were in class but now they get excited every Saturday morning to go to class. If you are thinking of where to enroll your little ones to get them swimming like fish, definitely check out Emler Southlake.

Facilities are very good, great teachers and reasonable fees. I just wish the sessions were longer than 30 minutes.

My older daughter graduated her swim lessons from Emler Southlake and my little one still learning her way up to become an awesome swimmer. I highly recommend this place.it’s very kids friendly and I like their methodology and instructors.

We absolutely LOVE Emler in Southlake! Our son has been going since he was 8 weeks old and going to the Bathtime Babies class is one of his favorite activities. Ms. Kim is so kind and patient with the little babies. We highly recommend Emler to anyone who is interested!

My daughter started swim lessons two weeks ago and we’ve already seen her confidence increase while swimming. Emily in Southlake is wonderful!

Outstanding staff! They are all very welcoming and knowledgeable. We have a great experience each time coming here! I highly recommend this place. My 4 month old loves Bathtime babies.

Can’t say enough great things about the Southlake Emler! My 3 yo son made more progress in one semester with Ms Kim than he did in a year in Jacksonville! Would highly recommend!

My son is almost 3 and has been going here since he was old enough. This weekend we were at the in laws who have a pool and he looked at us and said “if I fall in I turn around and swim back to this close wall”. That is exactly why we take our kids here and encourage everyone to do the same!

What an awesome place to take your child to learn how to swim! The facility is always clean and inviting and the staff is super friendly and helpful. Our daughter is fairly shy when it comes to new people, but she warmed right up to Mr. Chase and trusts him completely. We highly recommend EMLER swim school to anyone interested in getting swim lessons for the child.

My daughter has been with Emler Swim School since she was 18 months old and she just turned 5 yrs. We LOVE Emler. My daughter swims privates with Mr. Blake and has graduated through all the levels and now also swims on Emler's Swim Team with Mr. Will and Ms. Amanda (love you guys) on Saturdays. It's amazing to see her perform all four strokes and to watch her keep up with kids twice her age and strength and it's all thanks to the staff at Emler. Mr. Blake is awesome and challenges my daughter just enough while still keeping her confidence high and having tons of fun. All of the Emler staff, especially Ms. Megan, are always soooo sweet and bend over backwards to try and accommodate your needs. The facilities are always clean and the overall environment is always welcoming and positive. My daughter has grown with Emler and has blossomed into quite the swimmer! Thank you Emler- you're stuck with us!

Can't recommend Emler highly enough! My little one is in the bath time babies class with Ms. Shayna and we look forward to it all week! I swear its the reason he likes tummy time now! The staff is always super friendly and helpful- especially Cecily and Megan-they treat my little guy like family!

Emler is the absolute best! We love bringing our son there and he absolutely loves it. The teachers are all great and the office staff- especially Megan and Cecily- are absolutely wonderful and truly care about my family. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

Emlers is the best! My 2 daughters have learned more from their instructors over the past year than they had at another school for the 2 years preceding us coming to TX. More important, the staff and instructors truly care for the kids. Shayna is now like a "big sister" to my 4 yr old. We're big fans!

We love love love Emler! We have been there for 3 years now and the staff is amazing! We are always greeted when we arrive and given a fish stamp when we leave Ms. Karen R is GREAT with our son! She is very attentive and challenges him on his level. He is very confident in and around the water and she has a HUGE part in that! Ms Megan ALWAYS checks in on us and makes us feel at home. My son loves "swim days" because of the staff, instructors and environment. Thank you emler Southlake, for continually to have the people and environment to encourage and educate children about swim and safety!

We have two kids enrolled at Emlers and have been coming here for over a year.

Our kids have progressed by leaps and bounds during our time here. The staff and teachers are professional, outgoing, and dedicated to working with my children’s needs.

We have been impressed by swim instructors Tiffany, Will and Matthew. Their instruction style, attention to technique, and focus has made swim class fun and educational.

I would highly recommend this swim school!
