Empa Mundo - World of Empanadas, Irving TX

Empanadas were good in size but each varied differently in taste. I was recommended Chillipazinga which suited my taste buds.it had a dash of spices.others were a bit bland or tomato based flavors. I would recommend giving this place a try if in this neighborhood.

Man I wish I knew about this place earlier. The young lady that work there is so sweet and the empanadas are delicious! There is a variety to choose from and even some sweet ones on the menu. I tried the spicy chicken and the cheesesteak. The spicy chicken is most definitely spicy for the pepper belly's out there and the cheesesteak is filled to the max with meat for the meatlovers out there. My guests had the banana and nutella and the shrimp empanada. Which they both said were delicious and filling. Each empanada is less than 4 dollars each which is very reasonable. 2 was enough for me for one sitting but I wish I had bought some for home. I will most definitely be back to try some of the other delicious options!

Best empanadas I’ve ever had! The fillings are so wonderfully flavorful and the crust is flaky and tasty. The owner is very nice and loves interacting with customers. I would highly recommend the Breakfast, Onion Cheese and Mushroom, Philly Cheesesteak, and Guava and Cheese empanadas. There are a few I haven’t tried yet but definitely will next time!

Found this gem thanks to a friend and the empanadas were more than amazing! We tried literally one of each, and were not disappointed! Spicy chicken was one of my favorites! Be ware if you funky like spicy it might be too hot for you! The chilipanzinga is one of the best as well, their chimichurri is soooo good! Camote is so sweet you would love it! The pineapple and apple cookies were to die for! I highly, highly recommend this AMAZING place!

I don't know of many places that only make empanadas and even less peruvian style. I've tried every single one and I can whole heartedly say they are some of the best. If you like spice I definitely recommend Chilapanzinga and for desert guava

They are delicious, but not the best idea for a full meal, they are pricey for the size they are

Delicious Delicious empanadas! I had the cheese steak, shrimp pasta and brisket empanadas all was fantastic. Especially chees steak. The owner is a very nice lady who gives excellent service definitely coming back.

Found this place randomly while out driving to the airport and I’ve been back multiple times since. I can’t say enough about the food let alone the cook. She has the happiest attitude that makes you want to come back, but the food does the exact same thing when you have a taste. The sauce (vinaigrette mixed chimichurri) with the empanadas are to die for here. I specifically love the chilipanzinga. Just come and try and you’ll be back guaranteed.

Empanadas are STUFFED and AMAZING! The oil on the table makes it taste 10x better. I come regularly with family. Never disappointed.

The empanadas are very tasty, the attention was not good, because they are too serious.it takes a little time to prepare them, there was only one person, and we bought 30 empanadas.but it was worth it. Delicious, if you are not desperate, get there.

Literal hole in the wall type place. The staff are super friendly. Apparently, they memorized their regular's names. Let's see, clean facilities, lots of small tables and no booths. The menu is simple and has something for most. The empanadas are handmade and amazing. I recommend the Philly cheese steak. I haven't tried all of them yet, so I'm looking forward to returning.

The empanadas are delicious, the attention is excellent! It makes us feel like family! It is far away.if not, I would go very often! It is one of my favorite places in the metroplex! 100% recommendable!

Every single time I go the service is incredible. My empanadas are always hot and fresh, and the menus is diverse so I can always find something that I’m in the mood for. Strongly recommend.

If you have not had empanadas from here, you are missing out! The woman at the register gave me some amazing recommendations. She said that the criolla, the humid, and the spinach and ricotta are the most authentic so those are the ones that I tried. They were all sooo incredible! I will be back!
I also tried one of the pineapple cookies and really loved that too! The inside of the restaurant is really neat and is filled with foreign money as well as American dollars with messages, it's really cool!

They seem to have a lot of regulars, and rightfully so, the staff is friendly, food is delicious and the place itself is very cozy. You owe it to yourself to try this place out, you will not be disappointed

Phenomenal Empanadas Excellent Flavor I came here when you guys just open 14 year ago and I came back to day and the Empanadas still Delicious same Humble place than 14 year ago and they still have the bill I post at the Wall

So delicious and tons of options. My favorite empanada changes with every visit. And it’s run by the best lady. Love this place
