Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital Vision Park reviews
9This is such a great place! Their communication with the family has been so great. I get a phone call every day from his case manager. They have managed every detail of his care at home for when he is released, even going so far as to make his doctor's appointments. My dad is 81 with a terminal illness, and he told me his time at the rehab hospital has been the best days he's had in a very long time. He always sounds so happy when I talk to him. We would highly recommend Encompass!
I couldn’t of asked for a better staff that helped me through a rough time. Cause you can’t see loved ones but the care was great and I hope I never have to go back but if I did this is the place I would go too 100 %
After major surgery, I spent 10 days at Encompass. The care I received was excellent. The doctors, nurses, therapists and staff worked together seamlessly to insure my recovery.
The communication to the family about the status/condition of my blind father was horrible. He spent 10 days there and came out with more issues than he went in with. No one can give us acceptable answers as to why. This place is horrible for patients with a disability especially blindness.
Excellent facility to rehabilitate at. From the housekeeping staff attention to cleanliness to the kitchens good food and taking care of the patients needs and requests.
The Case Mgr. Physicians/NP, Nurses, Nursing Techs, PT, OT. Everyone that was involved in my care and recovery were just great. The level of professionalism, while maintaining a genuine understanding, care and concern outstanding. I could not have ask for a more wonderful group of people to get me back on my feet, on the road to recovery. I want to thank each and every one for their hard work.
My husband was at Encompass at Vision Park. The nurses and therapists were good except they were negligent in keeping the catherer clean which I believe may have helped contribute to his death. When he had to be moved to St. Lukes over night to put in new feeding tube because of old one being stopped up for not crushing the pill good enough. The paramedic said that was the nastiest catherer they had ever seen. There were two Drs that would ignore us when we ttied to tell them that he was hallucinating. He told me that he was the professional and that he would move him to the hospital and would not allow him to come back.
He was eventually transferred to St. Lukes downtown after my daughter showed the video to a Dr. He seemed angry she had made the video and showed it. He passed away 10 days later. My heart is broken.
I have worked here as an Occupational therapist for 8.5 years and love my team and all the people I work with.
This facility is a horrible place to put your family. The staff will disregard the doctor's orders and they will kill your family member. Find another facility that you can trust with your loved one.
My mom was there from 8/22-9/6/17. We were on the 3rd floor - the nurses were awesome. Physical Therapist ladies were amazing - loved two ladies - Opal and Aisia. I would go back if I ever needed to. On her last night the nurse we had could have been a little nicer but we made thru. Case Manager named Amy was also amazing. Food service did everything in their power to adjust her meals if needed. Great place.
