Poor service, fail to inform you on what you need to rent, treat customers with no respect, for enterprise employees 820 main as the worst service in the history of car rent I am very disappointed with enterprise and will NEVER rent from enterprise again poor service disappointed employees and and very disrespect of paying customers.

Ubered to this location after getting a reservation with a confirmation number, only for them tell me that they don't have any cars available. The woman here was unhelpful and unsympathetic. No offers to make it right and/or to search around for other vehicles. Apparently it was my fault for calling the reservation line because they somehow don't have the ability so see which cars are actually available at each location? This level of disorganization unprofessional behavior is ridiculous. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Reserved via website for 5pm pickup. They called me to come early because they closed at 5. THEY said 430.

Got there at 430. Through checkin in a minute and then had to wait 45 minutes because "your reservation isn't until 5 so we won't have a car until then"

Not thrilled

Update -

MUCH better experience when I returned the car. Dekerria (manager) was prepared to make it right and did so. 5 stars for her. 1 star for whoever's doing their oil changes since I'm told that's what caused the 10 minutes to become 45 last time.

Easy checkin and checked out I forgot the supervisors name but the location was going to close and she’s like come in 5 min before closing and she and her staff took good care of me.

I was set up with my vehicle through Progressive after I was in a hit and run accident, and the pick up was super easy. Within the first week, my tire pressure was low, so I took it to discount tire to find that I had a nail in it. Who knows if it was there already or not, but luckily I was able to bring it to pep boys and they replaced the tire for free through their partnership with Enterprise.

I had the car for almost a month, and then was told last minute that my car repairs were ready and that I had to return my vehicle within the next two days. That all would’ve been fine, but like a lot of people I have a job that I commute to, so I was hoping to be able to return the vehicle to a location near my work. Unfortunately, I was told that because I rented from the downtown location, I had to return it to the same location. Now I have to figure out a way to get there in time and then be on time to pick up my vehicle from the body shop. Just stressful in general and I wish they made it easier on me.

Easy to pickup and <5 min drop off and they worked well with my insurance and called to update me on any chances. People at the front desk were nice and gave quick service! I would definitely rent a car with them again!

This is just for the pickup so far. The gentleman nice and quick with my car. Hey he car is also CLEAN - like clean, clean! This is shocking to me as hertz gave me a half clean car that needed repairs.

Enterprise's motto "We're there when you need us" certainly doesn't apply to this branch. After reserving a vehicle over a month in advance all I got when I needed my rental was a phone message from Dcairi while I was in flight to Houston telling me they were sold out and would not be fulfilling my reservation. They made absolutely no effort to secure a vehicle from nearby branches or the airport. I realize these are difficult times but where is the commitment to their customers. I also have heard nothing from corporate from my complaint left on their website. Never again Enterprise.

Sadly, before booking I read the reviews on this location, but I decided to disregard them. Big mistake on my part! Even though I booked my reservation more than 1 month in advance, I still received a call the day prior to pick up stating that they didn’t have any vehicles available. They claimed that there were multiple vehicles due back, but they were unable to contact the renters. Are we basically saying that the vehicles were stolen? Lies! Never again!

Never in my life will I rent from this company again. Bad service started from beginning. I was placed on a cold hold mid-sentence by a manager. The Hobby airport, Trey, accused me of causing the vehicle to over heat and even filed a claim against me. He was really just mad that I told him he had poor customer service after he didn’t even bother to come talk me per my request. When he finally came out, it took him several minutes to even acknowledge me. Pull the camera recordings! To add insult to I jury, which was probably his goal, Trey charged me a $50 drift fee because I refused to leave in an overheated vehicle and opted to close my contract instead. This was the worst car rental experience in my life. I’ll never spend another dollar with Enterprise!

After being traveling all day we could be more happier.they have the best customer service our representative she makes sure we was happy with the car we rented so if you are going to be visit Houston and you are renting a car makes you you ask for Brenda zabala she is the best

Consistently overbook and vehicle is never ready when reserved. Reserved a vehicle at 610 S. Loop location three days prior to the reservation and that location was overbooked when I attempted to pick up. Called this location on Main for a reservation and explained that I needed to ensure the vehicle would be available because another location overbooked us. They stated the vehicle was available for pick up and I would not have the same problem. Of course when we attempt to pick up the vehicle it was not available and they stated there were no vehicles available to rent to us.

They wait until the day of your rental to tell you that you need a Houston license in order to rent a vehicle!

For the second time in my life, the first time was at this location, I actually enjoyed my experience with automobile rental. The folks at Enterprise, Downtown Houston, are kind, professional, courteous, and energetic. Hats Off to whole crew!
