Enterprise Rent-A-Car, San Marcos TX

As I walk back from enterprise I am wondering of poor customer service is generally from laziness or incompetence. The San Marcos Enterprise Rent-a-car is a true masterclass in what can happen when one really puts in the effort to be terrible. I requested a car and was told I would hear from them in 2 hours. 6 hours later I called them. I asked if there was a car available. I was told yes. I must have sounded attractive because they wanted to see me in person despite not having anything near the car I requested. I said I needed something large enough to fit some bikes or ot could have a tow hitch I could put the bike on. I was given a long lecture on why they don't have tow hitches and literally told to go somewhere else. Despite a truck sitting there that they just kept talking me didn't have a tow hitch. Maybe you can't fit bikes in the bed of a f250? Anyway.still walking home.

The folks at Enterprise San Marcos consistently deliver rental cars to me in offsite. They are always on time and dependable cars. Anytime I speak with the staff at the San Marcos location, they are very friendly and professional.

I had a difficult time with my rental because of my license, but I spoke with a manager named Jake who was patient and professional and continued to work with me throughout the process. Overall I appreciate all the support they offered! I was rear ended which was very stressful for me, so their willingness to help was a relief.

Customer service is great here and the car they used to transport me from the auto shop was clean and comfortable.

Even with complications (not fault of enterprise) Mike went above and beyond to help. We experienced excellent customer service and were very satisfied with the outcome of our situation. Everything was handled in an incredibly timely manner and exceeded our expectations. If you are going to Enterprise, you'll want Mike helping you.

I made a reservation online and picking up the car and returning it went smoothly. The rental agent was friendly, helpful and nice. Whenever I need to rent another car I will definitely rent from them.

Very courteous. I was able to get taken of very quickly. All of the staff was very helpful.

Mike, the manager, went out of his way to correct an issue. I checked out a car and the battery died at my first stop. Enterprise sent out their road side assistance for a jump start. When I got back to the branch I explained what had happened to Mike and he got me in a new car, took a day of charges off my reservation, and waived the road side assistance fee since it had caused some delay to my day. When I returned the car today he remembered me and personally checked in the car to ensure the rest of my experience had gone well. From my observations at the branch it appears that Mike goes out of his way to ensure all customers have a great experience. I highly recommend Mike and this location.

I have been here a few times. Very professional Team. And lately it seems that they are keeping more cars on-hand to get a rental car, rather it's short notice or booked it weeks ago. I have been to other Enterprise's this one is one of the best. Thanks!

Rent here if you like the inside of your vehicle to smell like a wet dog kennel and it to be full of animal hair. This has happened to me twice at this location there will not be a 3rd time.

Great staff, very friendly, and helpful. Service is quick, and they offered to pick me up or drop me off. This service could be better advertised because I didn't know until I'd made arrangements. Maybe it should be a question as you're renting the car online. Otherwise, great service. Could always be cheaper ;)

I really appreciated the friendly staff at the San Marcos Enterprise. They were courteous and cognizant of my time, they quickly checked me in and sent me on my way. I had to drop off my rental after hours, I received a phone call the next day saying everything was in order and my rental was closed. Great customer service through and through, I would definitely recommend everyone who needs to rent a car to come in the San Marcos Enterprise and be treated like a real person.

The front office folks were helpful and professional, but the driver who picked me up had an attitude, which I didn't appreciate. Overall, a good experience.

Numerous rental cars through this Enterprise location and I am always very satisfied with their professionalism and customer service. I am in and out in an efficient manner when checking out my rental car and never have had an issue when returning. I will continue to use this location for all my rental car needs.

Had a reservation to pick up a vehicle. Got to the location San Marcos they had no record of it. I did have a confirmation #. Aftet 3pm finally got a vehicle. Nobody even asked if they could offer me something for my incontinence. BAD!

I made a call this morning by 8: 20am to make a reservation. They confirm my reservation at 10: 00am but when I arrived to Enterprise San Marcos, I had to wait arround 45 minutes for a car because they had no available. Really? Also I got a big car when I asked for a small car.
My score for this office I’ll give them 1/10.
