8 I rented two cars from the Wharton enterprise within the last month and both cars were defective. In fact, the first one died on me out of the blue in the middle of Houston traffic at night.that was scary. Then the second one check engine light was on and was tore up in the back with the dummy missing.do you know these people refused to give me my money back? Do you know these people talked about giving me a credit but haven’t had cars to rent in weeks?
Moral of the story is, do not rent from enterprise in Wharton. They don’t have cars in a timely manner even whenever you reserve 48 hours in advance, and the cars they do have are lemons.
This place is an absolute joke. I reserved a car online, 48 hours in advance, to travel to my grandmothers funeral. Now they call just hours before my anticipated departure to say they have no car available…. Now what am I supposed to do? I thought the purpose of reservation online was to transfer a car from another location if necessary? I’m absolutely frosted. Unbelievable unsatisfactory service. Zero stars.
Very poor service they gave me a vehicle that needed an oil change and would not give me another vehicle I needed the vehicle for 2 weeks because mine is getting fixed they don’t answer there phones at all I had to go back up there don’t recommend anyone to go there

We made reservations back on January 25th for a large suv and were supposed to pick it up today march 10th, they called an hour before we picked it up to say they didn't have any! They proceded to send us to another enterprise to pick up a vehicle 30 minutes away so we started driving there, husband called to confirm and they also had no such vehicle! We were then directed to yet another enterprise saying they had what we had reserved, got there and they didnt have it either! I am done with them they have horrible service and communication skills! We have had this reservation for 2 minths and they let us down badly!
Worst possible place to rent an automobile. Had made a reservation 2 weeks in advance but when I got there "NO CARS AVAILABLE" Do not rent from Enterprise in Wharton.
The service is ok.when you can get someone to answer the phone.i wish wharton had another rental company
No one was available at the time I was there. It was about 2: 30pm and they had a sign at the door saying that they were either dropping off or picking up vehicles. They also have a sign that they are closed from 12: 30pm-1: 30pm for lunch. I mean if they only have one employee is understandable (which I doubt), but not if they have more than one.
