Love what they have done with the place in updating it. Made me want to keep my membership money after i almost cancelled it.

This center used to have way better staff ever since they converted to Esporta their new management including new manager Claudia has been anything but helpful to former and loyal LA fitness members. Their communication is poor and the terms and conditions seem to change from call to call. I tried cancelling my membership there several times over the phone because my work schedule wouldn’t allow me to go in person. Claudia gave me the run around several times after explains to her the original club I signed up for was over an hour away. She didn’t care continued to bill me even though I stopped going to the club. After finding some time to go in person I spoke to a nice gentleman named Larry who attempted to help me buy appointing me to come the next day to speak to abandon or Christ to see what they could do to sign me up with Esporta and take care of the cancellation with LA Fitness for me. Before I could call the next day to verify if they would be there when I got off work I was rudely greeted by Claudia the new regional manager once more who rudely turned me away from verifying g that info an imploding I was wasting my time waiting for either and three she was the one I had to speak with, even though I had spoken to her originally and was little to no help who I Initially reached out and poke to cancel prior months. She went back and forth and told me I WAS ABLE to cancel over the phone after all even though $120.00 billed later and a couple months later I wasn’t before. Either way I love this club but due to the poor customer service I won’t be signing back up anytime soon.

IMPORTANT!

Don’t get any of their training programs. I purchased the one year term plan and they only trained me for 4 sessions. Then they made up an excuse of “we are very busy” and have not trained me for this whole past month. 90% of the time they spend huddled around in a group by the computer desk “working”. I am mad at myself for believing this gym was going to be different, and I am very disappointed at the all the personal trainers in this facility.

Don’t get ripped of people. Don’t let them trick you like a hungry pack of auto dealers at a dealership. They just want to make a sale and not take responsibility for a paying customer.

On a different not, the cleaning staff is another story. They are hard working and do an amazing job. This explains my 2 star rating instead of 1.

I love this place! There are no judgments and everyone is super friendly. All the staffs and coaches are great and know exactly how to motivate everyone. I highly recommend you start here if you are looking to find a gym club.

Every since the Esporta name came the quality of the gym is going down hill. I was paying for the quality of a LA Fitness not Esporta. Restrooms are filthy and always have blood in the stalls or trash can. New members are in the way and do more socializing than lifting. They allow kids in the gym now starting at the age of 13 with no adult supervision. I wouldn’t recommend anyone sign up at this location. Go to a real LA Fitness location. Save yourself a headache.

One of the gyms I goto.

One of my top two.

I guess they both serve my needs depending on my mood at the moment.

Love their elipical machines.

Not so much their sauna and absense of wet sauna.

It's a toss up so I go to both.

I usually use their pool but the other place is fine for that also.

This was a great gym. All the equipment felt nearly new and everything was very clean. Would recommend working out here as my home gym if I lived in the area.

I had a personal trainer who parted ways with the company. I waited to be partnered somewhere else only for both locations to not call me back and then the third location to say the amateur certified trainer is split between to locations so it doesn’t work well with my schedule. I have 19 sessions. To put it in perspective. I’ve only used 4 trainings.and there’s literally 19 left over. They offered me to send it to the location WITH THE amateur trainer who has the conflicting schedule! So that’s almost 2 months worth of trainings. The VP: CHASE. Wants to save money versus being understanding of the issue of 1. Me having to call around. & 2. Waiting to hear back from him. He went a week and a half without responding. Allie from customer service tried her best but to no avail. Brandon and Derrick have tried to help me but if I want a personal trainer, I need to upgrade an additional $400 for a Master trainer and that’s IF he has availability, even though he never called me back either! Mind you, I’m paying $340 for a PT, I’m not even getting. I was scheduled for a phone call Friday. This has been on going for 3 weeks now. But no one has called me back yet! It wasn’t until I told the Mansfield location I was going to cancel since I kept getting the run around then someone FINALLY CALLED ME! I was legit standing in the office when two trainers were being unprofessional flirting. So much for customer service! I hope The VP see’s this because I waited patiently and I’m not one to post comments but he doesn’t care to help anyone but to save money!

Cleanliness at this location is going worse and worse. Specially men locker/restrooms. Paper towel not refilled, sopa and bathroom tissue. And stinks every single day. Not good! Used to be very clean when I signed up.

This place has the potential; the people working here just don’t care. The gym is dirty, the locker rooms are dirtier, the bathrooms are the dirtiest. No hand sanitizer units around the facility. I can go on and on. These guys even make me contemplate getting a membership with planet fitness, my goodness.

One of the worst gyms I've been to, the staff is nice but just spend the whole time at the front desk talking, there never seems to be anyone except a single cleaning lady doing any actual work. The weights are everywhere and rarely picked up. Their Covid standards are a total joke, so many people without masks including staff. They moved the stretching mats at the beginning of Covid into the basketball court as a "precaution " but now the court is open to play while people are stretching. Nothing like large groups of maskless people sweating and heavy breathing all over each other to help stop the spread. Not to mention the gym has been closed for inclement weather conditions for over a week, but it has been beautiful outside for 3 days now. It was literally 80 degrees today and they still say the weather is keeping them closed. Seriously, save your time and energy for a better gym. I am in the process of cancelling my membership and switching to a different gym. Total joke!

I am quite pleased with my first experience there. I have the Multi-Pass and was in the market for a (nother) personal trainer. Upon arriving, Robin attended to my situation promptly, and Jordaan was readily available (on the spot) to give me a trial run of personal training for this location. He didn't just focus on strength training but a more holistic, varied approach, I would say. The atmosphere was pleasant, bright and lively to me. BLUF: After comparing it to a couple of local LA Fitness I am adding one star extra. The below comments are still in place however, this LA FITNESS has a gym crowd and layout that places it above the rest.

I will go ahead and give you a quick run-down of how this gym is currently operating during COVID-19 and how I have observed the gym is run. I signed up online, which was reasonably straightforward, and they waived the initiation fee, which was nice. Once I walked into the gym, my first impression was what do the staff do here? Apart from being extremely nice, the staff was not present through the gym to check the members for compliance with COVID-19 rules; After several visits, you can see weights lying around, members not wearing masks in the weight area and machines not being wiped by members due to the staff's complacency. The gym's appearance is generally clean. The last few visits have been in the morning, and the gym has not been overly crowded. Their little self-serve fridge wishes it had more options as it is mostly empty and not refilled regularly. Although equipment sanitizing wipes are available everywhere, hand sanitizer is absent like a father fetching cigarettes' in the middle of the night. There is a handful of hand sanitizer boxes (3 count with a staff member), and it does not seem enough (considering the times we are in). Staff needs to be involved with the rules and enforce them; even once, I saw a member working out, observed a lady without her mask come in and work out, and never once addressed this to her. This gym is not the best, nor is the worse. I think they are doing okay during these times, but the lack of concern about the rules they praise at the corporate level is astounding.

The hot tub is not hot stayed under a hundred the pool is dirty the hot tub stays dirty the last time I was there they had and mildew in the hot tub

Just got the code for free 6 days to try the gym and they didn’t allow me to do that they said I tried it in other location before? ! I told them yea but I wanna try this location to see if its good then signup for membership and they told me you have to pay 17$ for a day to try it! I think her name was robben that she said that and I think it’s wrong to treat a guest like that!

As usual feels great to workout in a clean environment. Nice pool, not cold. Can't wait for the sauna to be back on and running.
