Essence House Cafe, Fulshear TX

Never had a bad meal. The Essence has amazing food that is good and healthy. Can’t go wrong with that combination. Great work!

So disappointing! We can only assume there are new owners. No table service. You have to go up and order. Food was awful. Burned sausages, dried eggs, bland potatoes, and ice cold toast. For the price of the bill, they should be ashamed. Never again.

Great little restaurant! This place has a homie vibe and is very clean. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The food is made fresh and it’s delicious. Very filling portions and pretty good pricing as well. The milkshakes are pretty good but they are artificially flavored not a super fan of that but still could drink mine. All the food we tried was very good. Parking wasn’t a problem and wait to get seated wasn’t too bad. Overall a great experience so glad we came into this restaurant. Will definitely be returning!

Not good at all now. You have to order and pay at counter, food was cold. Not tasty.
Won’t go back again. Must be new owners.

A proper dinner / Cafe. Great breakfast options for a good price. Good sandwiches too. Nice cookies and cakes. Coffee could be better IMO but I'm a coffee nerd. The illy house coffee is good.

Delicious food, quick service, and a pretty diverse menu make this a spot that I’ll be back to. Sort of a fast diner feel in terms of the service, but a homey aesthetic warms it up a notch.

It doesn’t hurt that they don’t have much competition nearby! It seems too simple, but the toast and jelly were perfectly satisfying accompaniments to my Mexican omelette. With an egg allergy, I usually get weird looks when I order an “omelette but sub the eggs for potatoes. ”

After some back and forth about how he couldn’t do that in the ordering system, the young man figured out a way.

My son and wife also enjoyed theirs. The chalk and sign art is the cherry on top for me. So creative.

Delicious food & drinks. Lattes are not too sweet. The bakery has an app assortment of fresh pastries and cookies. The food is make to order so always fresh. The staff are always polite and helpful.

I came here not knowing what I was going to get. Safe to say they care about their job and delivering the best food they can. I had ordered the mango smoothy and it was sweet; not overpowering, yet soft. Wonderful environment and great attitudes all around. Even when they were super busy they make sure you're doing well.

Great food. Great service. Highly recommend if you're looking for a small quiet cafe!

Went for the first time and the experience was greater than I expected! Service was great and food was even better! Will definitely be going back regularly.

I have been to going to Essence House for many years. I love the food. Breakfast is great, my favorite lunch item is the Green Gobbler sandwich. I used to stop by and pick up the homemade cookies, especially the ginger cookies. They no longer serve these fresh homemade cookies and from the taste of them and looks, they must purchase them from Sam’s. I was told the baker they used to have retired. This is disappointing. I hope they find a new baker.

Food and service both were excellent. Had the shrimp sandwich, it was plentiful and delicious! Atmosphere was friendly. Will definitely be going back.

They have the absolute best Pumpkin chocolate chip bread! It is a must try when grabbing some breakfast or a quick cup of coffee!

Had a great breakfast, as always. It's been a while, but I'm glad we went back. I highly recommend the sohosando taco. So good. And, lattes are now latte-saized, so that's a bonus in my book.
