0 stars. I have to hunt them down each week in order for my trash to be picked up. The lady who answers the phone would much rather me cancel my service than deal with the situation. She gets rude and unprofessional when an issue arises. Trash service switched to 1 day pickup to ensure every customer gets taken care of but they fail to do that. Their soulution is "just buy another trash bin" bins are not cheap and I do not want 2 full bins in my yard. Customers must be punctual with payments but they are not punctual with their services. They pickup at random times, sometimes 7am sometimes late at night. Customers must pay a "special" pickup fee when they fail to pickup or wait until the following week to get trash service. They do not prorate your days, you're charged on the first of every month regardless PLUS late fees even though were not under any contract. They have policies you find out about once there is an issues. For example: you have to send them a picture of your trash to prove they did not stop by, the drivers will take a picture of your trash to prove it wasnt there but Ive never received one, you need to call them (to a number that never picks-up and has a voicemail inbox full so you cannot leave a message) Cancelling once my 3 months are up because they do not refund. Do not recommend.

Sooo unfortunately ill be another customer that was let down and taken advantage of - right from the start they missed my trash pick up and multiple times and when i texted them they would say it would give me some excuses and say it will be picked up next day but noo never was and always seemed to just have my trash out curbside making my house look trashy- and when i called and spoke to the lady today to see whats up with my service she said it ended on 10/15/23 like no notice or anything and when i asked for some courtesy pick ups to make up for the missed ones she would just stay quiet and not speak for long periods kinda wierd to be honest and tried to tell me in the system it shows when they missed my trash they picked it up next day - thats a complete lie and they also broke my trash can because they jist throw ot down on the ground from top of there trailer—— i would not use them unless your ready for say issues like in all these reviews

Worst trash service ever. You never know when or even if they are going to pick up your trash.
I would not recommend this company to anyone.

We had them over a year ago and had nothing but problems, so we canceled service with them. We took our own trash to the dump for almost a year just to avoid using these people. Then life got crazy and we decided we really needed a trash service again. Signed back up hoping the issues had been resolved. We have been using them for a week and a half at this point. The first trash pickup day a week ago they picked up our trash but then ran into our trash cans (not lightly) with their truck. The second time they were supposed to pick up our trash, they didn't. We contacted them and they said they would pick it up that day or Monday. We have it all in text messages. They never came either day. Now animals have got into our trash and it is all over the road. And now they are saying they can't even pick it up today. They can't even go 2 weeks without MAJOR problems and lying. Stay as far from this company as you can.

Trash has been outside for 4 days now, thy said they didn't see it, we live on a cul de sac they picked up opposite but not ours. Called and said they would come out and ask usual they don't. Sadly we don't have any other options unless we get a dumpster at $500 a month.

They drive a best up truck with a trailer ora home Depot truck, they se to have a proper trash truck, guess it got repoed.

Went from the best to the worst. Pickup for one is done by trailer allowing trash to blow around surrounding neighborhoods. Pickup got mad over a few pieces of tile in the 1/2 full dumpster so they decide to trash the neighborhood with their childish antics by tossing the tile and trash on the ground and driving off.

Updates: 8/10 attached photo is of their pickup vehicle that drives 45 through our neighborhood.

This is a terrible trash company. Use Eastside Waste Services. They never miss a day and their price is good.

I had this company for a while at first they were great they did miss days here and there but it wasn’t a big deal since they picked up twice a week. Than out of nowhere they stopped picking up my trash! I made multiple calls with them promising to pick up the trash and this went on for two or three months and no matter how many promises they made they never picked up the trash. I finally gave up and switched providers. The cherry on top was the refund for my payment that they only partially refunded which I made them aware of. They said they would take care of it but here we are months later and I still haven’t received the rest of my money. If I could rate 0 stars I would.

Trash is always picked up Wednesday mornings. Just to mention the amount of attention this company gives. They kindly put the lid back on the bin. (Others would leave it on the ground). Take the time to clean around if a dog tares the bag.
They stepped in a day later after Texas Pride stopped showing up out of nowhere…

I love you guys but y'all need yo pick up the trash. It was there yesterday and it's the next day, late afternoon and it's still there. Please pick it up.

Not sure what is going on with this company it's been about 3 times now they don't come and pick up my trash and they don't answer phone calls or call you to let you know there not coming.

Have not picked up trash in weeks. Totally unresponsive to any calls. The absolute worst trash company in the Houston area.

Essential Waste is a wonderful alternative to all of the big waste companies who are not customer friendly. Essential Waste is a fairly new, privately owned business. As with all new companies getting started, there have been a couple of kinks along the way, but it is how things are handled that separates the good service from the bad service. Essential Waste is a cut above the rest. The owner and his staff are always cordial and efficient. Our communities need to pull together to support our small business owners, and you can start with Essential Waste. Kiddos to the owner and employees! You provide an essential service and I, for one, am very pleased.

I’ve tried contacting once again! Company phone is never on. I never have my trash picked up! Even if my trash is left out I still have to call almost every single time it is trash day my husband leaves for work by 5: 45am or 6am. There is just no communication with the company my trash is still sitting there and the day is just about done.

I have once again tried to contact the company and still no response. I haven’t had my trash picked up in over 2 weeks. My trash it outside the night before and still not one pick up it’s frustrating that I haven’t even had a call in return.

Picked up once in the last 3 weeks. Was told truck was in accident a week ago.can't seem to get them on the phone.might just walk to the persons home
