EVO Cinemas Belterra reviews
16 I’ve been coming here since it opened and before it changed hands. Evo has totally destroyed the food selection and replaced it with the equivalent of theme park quality food (priced the same as well)
It’s cute you serve your frozen fries in a fry basket when they are only half cooked. (Cold inside) Chicken sandwich was lukewarm at best and made me question my stomachs future while eating it.
The cheese pizza was on par with chucke cheeses and was half cooked as well.
The movie portion of the day was standard and fine but I won’t be coming back.
Great seats, bigger than Alamo. Also they serve food and drink to seat, don’t have the cool content before the show.
Theater is great, just grossed out by the kitchen staff. I was in the restroom with a dude wearing an arm protector, backwards hat, curly shaggy hair, white, brown hair, 5’8ish … watched him exit a stall after flushing and proceed immediately to the kitchen without washing his hands.
I recommend smuggling in your own refreshments.
$27 for a bag of popcorn and two sodas in generic styrofoam cups? !? !? Inflation is one thing, but this is price gouging.
Nice theater otherwise. Comfortable seating and clean theaters.
Food was horrible. Service was mediocre. They left the lights on in the theater until went out to find someone to turn them off. Aside from all of that the theater is nice.
They have one extra large size popcorn which you have to share but if you have a large group and they each want their own it will be 10 dollars times each person. Small kids can’t eat that size of a bag. The popcorn is awful because it has mostly hard shell leftovers that haven’t popped. We won’t come back. Totally gouging customers.
Very nice theater. However, the food prices are outrageous! Also, when we went there was construction going on inside near where you order the food.
$5 per ticket is pretty much a steal. What’s not impressive are the concessions prices. There is only one size popcorn available (bottomless) and it’s $11. There’s no option to just buy a small popcorn for a reasonable price. The popcorn wasn’t really the movie theatre quality I was hoping for- tasted like I probably could’ve made it out of a bag at home. Everything else was a good experience. Comfy reclining chairs were a plus!
This is not my favorite EVO. It's just okay. The staff was friendly, and movie selection was good, not just a few films. This one doesn't have all the entertainment stuff that the other locations have, nor the ordering from your seat option. It's more of an old-school movie theater.
What a great theater! Sleek and well designed, they have everything you want - comfy reclining seats, expanded menus but the jewel in this crown is Melissa Johnson. Besides being outgoing and personable, she went above and beyond to make my experience exceptional. This will definitely be my go-to movie theater from now in.
I want to be supportive since this is our local theater. However the menu is very limited and the pizza was plain bad. The video quality of the movie could also use improvement. Chairs are very comfy though!
Good theater but way to many bugs for some reason this company doesn’t invest in to a air trap system for bugs that are flying around. God knows how many bugs or moths fly into peoples food. Every time we come to the movies we are infested with flying insects and still nothing has been resolved to solved this issue!
State of the art theater. I was not expecting the in theater beverages, was great to have a glass of wine and enjoy a movie.
Love going to this theater even though it is not close to my home in Austin. It’s an in between spot when going to a movie with someone that lives in Wimberley. The staff have always been amazing and super friendly!
Comfortable seats. Great viewing and sound experience. Not crowded, clean establishment, and good service.
