6It's a typical hotel room. We got a single queen size bed, a desk, a couch (hide-a-bed), TV, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and a safe in the hidden mirror closet.
I guess they are remodeling this hotel, but as we are walking back to our room that evening, I think everyone on the second floor was smoking pot and it's a no smoking hotel. Plus, i had a 13 yr old with us and she had to smell all the pot. Then I went to the vending machines and they have nothing.
The toilet seat was falling apart and I had to fix it. There was a huge hole in the ceiling that was half way patched. I could go on about that hotel, I do not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy.
When I got into the room it smelled like someone had smoked in there. Went to ask for more pillows and I didn't get any.
This hotel has drastically changed for the worst. I stayed here about 5 months ago and it took three room changes to find a decent room. I thought okay it’s been some months maybe he’s got his issues resolved, but NOPE! Same lame excuses (staffing, staffing staffing and staffing). I don’t plan on staying here again. New ownership has this place looking like a pay by the hour hotel. The bed linen are thin and worn. The towels are thin and stained. I went to the local Walmart to buy towels to use and a blanket to sleep with. The shower hadn’t been cleaned. Stains on the walls of the shower. Hair on the toilet. Oh yeah, took my bacterial wipes to wipe town the nightstand and took several wipes until it was somewhat clean They are supposed to serve breakfast, but haven’t and keep blaming staffing issues as the problem for everything. The breakfast area appears to be a catchall storage facility. This place is frightening and gross!
Still a very nice Hotel! If you guys would/could bring the breakfast back, that'd be awesome! It was THE one thing that separated you guys! It's The Home Town.
I had just gotten out of the hospital and I told the manager what was going on and he would come in and check on me cuz his name was Johnny and he was one of the best managers I ever ran into with any hotel he's a good man and good friends and I told him if I ever come back tomorrow again I'll make it a point to stay at this hotel
