Eye Associates of South Texas La Vernia reviews
14This was our first visit to eye doctor since the retirement of our long time doctor. Overall the experience was very positive. The facility leaves a bit to be desired, but the people made up for it. Dr and staff were very professional and efficient. Looking forward to a long term relationship.
Honestly the best experience at a optometrist office. Dr. Acosta and staff are very professional (very nice people) and care about their patients. Very thorough and precise, I never felt rushed… 10/10 highly recommend.
Love the doctor in La Vernia, but you can’t call the office directly, you have to go through the main line. I called 8 times to order contacts. One return call that unfortunately I missed, called back, no reply. So good luck getting your contacts when you need them.
Dr. Antunez and her staff were very courteous, wait time was not long at all. Very informative on my eye condition, friendly and very knowledgeable.
Dr. Antuñez and staff were great! I was pleased with the exam and she took the time to address my needs and update my contact lenses.
The whole experience at the office was fantastic. A very comfortable atmosphere, everyone was great. I loved that everything in the office was so clean and organized. I would recommend this location to my friends and family. Thank you so much.
I needed to pick up my wife’s glasses. After taking half a day off to make sure I made it before they closed, come to find out they are closed on some Fridays. Website says open till 8 pm and after a phone call before I left work they said they close at 5 pm well they were closed, They do not shared that with their customers also after purchasing the glasses, they called later to inform us that we still owe money, because they forgot to charge us for something after we paid in full. Bait and switch if you ask me buyer Beware.
My doctor Arianna Antunez, O. D.is not listed in the survey. I am very pleased with Dr. Antunez because she answers all my questions and lets me know what procedures are covered by Medicare.
When I originally placed my order in La Vernia for Costa perscription sunglasses, the Lab made an error in my perscription. Letty called the lab and sent my sunglasses back to be corrected. She went above and beyond to make sure they were corrected and better. She made my experience a great one and I will definitely be going back.
Excellent service.under the care of Dr. Antunez and Miranda the tech lady. Letty the optician was very friendly and had extreme patience with me picking out my frames.didn't feel rushed
Will be definitely recommending.
I marked another doctor, because I didn't see the doctor we saw on the list to select.
The receptionist was not very welcoming and dressed unprofessionally in a t-shirt. The technician that called us back didn't introduce herself, and we had never been to the clinic and didn't know if she was the doctor or not so had to ask her. The doctor was nice and friendly however, and I feel like we got a decent exam. The display of glasses is covered in dust. Seems like this is a Cinderella location that doesn't receive much attention or gets the budget left overs.
The doctor quality isn’t the problem, they are not super nice but they get the job done. Very formal and quick, rather the issue is with the customer service. They do not respond to calls and hit you a contact assessment fee. I was told this was to cover additional examination to the type of contacts they would prescribe. Yet this was condensed into a five second question “do you like your current contacts? ” This question warranted an 60 dollar add on to my bill.
Eyes were dialated (did not want them dialated) and was assured I could drive afterwards. Absolutely could not drive-not given inserts or whatever to stop the glare. Scariest drive home of my life and eyes hurt and had throbbed headache for hours.
