Stop wasting your time trying to repair your eyeglasses yourself! My nosepad bracket had broken off and that isn't a standard, quick repair. I spend hours looking at YouTube and Amazon looking for quick ways to repair myself. I finally resorted to Google and found Eyeglass Repair Center. After calling Eyeglass Repair Center, I was comforted that this repair could be done in one day. And yep, my glasses are good as new. No one can see the repair.
