Fabulous 40s Motel reviews
12A wonderful small quiet motel, clean well furnished rooms, easy check in and check out, owner was very friendly. Overall 10/10 would stay again.
Found this place by accident, but I'm so glad I did. Great price, retro look. Amazing service. I will stay here every time I'm through here late.
This place was so quaint! I Loved it! Friendly service! Convenient if your traveling. Don't let the exterior fool you! It's a great stay!
It was comfortable and had a fridge and microwave. I dare anyone to find a more affordable stay with the same amount of cleanliness. It has a cute little gift shop in the lobby and the folks who run the place are VERY nice.
Amazing place on Route 66 at the exact midpoint of Route 66
The owner, Ramona, helped me a great deal in planning my trip home
Very clean and comfortable
We showed up late at night, it was extremely dark and a little difficult to find. Due to GPS had it in the wrong location. But during the day it is very easy to find.
A rustic little motel along route 66. Friendly service and clean, reasonably updated rooms that have maintained and restored the 70s vibe. I recommend starwatching here
We stopped at the fabulous 40s on our way back to Missouri from Albuquerque. The place was great. Ramona was great and told us about everything we needed to know. There were 5 of us and we stayed in the family which was 2 queen beds and a twin. There was plenty of room for all of us. The price was pretty reasonable for a room as well. Ramona even walked us to our room to make sure everything was ready for us.
The cafe closes at 3pm and if you want food other than gas station food you have to go to the next town.
We would definitely stay here again on our way through next time. Thank you again for being so hospitable for my family!
Definition of old Route 66 motel. Comfortable room, mom and pop owners, memorabilia in the breakfast room that probably has them set for worry free retirement if they sold them off. Off highway, friendly fellow travelers and no road noise. Also, next to a cafe.
Loved this hotel. It's like going back into the 1960s and 1970s. Owners were so friendly and welcoming. Only thing I'd change would be new updated mattresses.
Is it the peak of luxury? No. But it is one of the finest little family run motels I've encountered in my travels across the country. You can tell these folks care about the people who stay under their roof, and I look forward to my next visit!
I would give this place 10 stars if I could. The Owner was so kind, even when we woke her up at 1 am. The rooms were very clean for the age of the builsing and passed my pre-stay tear down. No bugs, and no mold. The sheets were spotless no signs of humans. The beds are super comfortable too. It comes with a microwave and a pretty big mini fridge. They have a small breakfast from 6-10am, it's also the route 66 midpoint. Definitely stay there if you can, 10/10 would absolutely recommend!
