My wife and I just bought a mattress from Factory Mattress over labor day weekend, and we had an overall great experience. For both of us, this was the first time we had entered a mattress store.

The salesman, Stephen, was very informative and professional in answering our questions. We felt that he was very forthright with us (without being pushy) when describing quality across different brands and technologies. As first time buyers, we appreciated that he took the time to answer all our questions in detail in an honest and factual way.

We started by assessing our ideal mattress type by using this computerized mattress program, which helped narrow down the types of mattress that fit our needs. We then tried on some higher end mattresses which felt great, but fell outside our budget zone. When we told Stephen our budget, he happily showed us models within our range, and my wife and I ended up loving this mattress that was in a more reasonable price range. Overall, we tried about 5 different mattresses across different price ranges and technologies, and the entire process took about 1 hour.

During checkout Stephen went ahead and applied a price match on the mattress we chose. I had no idea there was a price match system at this store, so I appreciated Stephen's initiative and transparency in finding us a better deal.

As first time mattress shoppers, here are the two main things which made this a positive experience for us:
1) Great salesmanship. We appreciated the honesty and informativeness of the salesman at the store.
2) Competitive pricing. Knowing that there is a price match system at Factory Mattress takes alot of stress out of trying to find the best deal in store or online.

I rarely review places, but I was highly impressed with the transparency, patience, and professionalism showed to my wife and I at this store. So we highly recommend this place to anyone looking to buy a mattress, first time or not.

A couple more notes about the store that I appreciated. The company is Texas based and family run, so you would be buying from a Texan business (plus they are competitively priced!). Also, the prices on display is the walk out the store price, so it already includes tax! (For us at least, it was a pleasant surprise)

Store well arranged; greeted by knowledgeable salesperson; he helped us understand value for each price level and offered some attractive closeout deals.
We left the store with mid- priced mattress and feeling very good about our encounter and the company. A positive buying experience to recommend. Delivery staff also courteous and helpful.

Recently bought a mattress and motorized platform from the Anderson Ln store in Austin. Jamie was our salesman. He was very knowledgeable and patient as we picked the matress that was right for us. Ask for Jamie at this store because he will get the job done for you when you need help before and after the purchase. We had an issue with the platform leg extensions and I don't think it would have gotten resolved at all if it wasn't for Jamie who stayed on top of it, and made an effort above and beyond what most salesmen would do to get my leg extensions. Jamie is the best. Thank you again.
