Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Houston League City reviews
17Outstanding hotel and staff. The first thing we noticed was how clean the hotel was from the lobby to our room. The staff was always available and so very accommodating. The loction was great. Everything to could possibly need was right there. Great restaurants, grocery stores, a Walmart. Of course Galveston beach is less than an hour away.
Great staff, conveniently located and new and super clean.all the basic amenities are here.
Nice clean new hotel… nice selection at breakfast. I would definitely recommend staying here.
We normally stay here if going to Galveston for Cruise. Rooms are nice, they offer a decent breakfast, have a Bar in evenings and the location is easy to get to.
An issue came up during our stay about two months ago and the manager was extremely tacky and unprofessional with how it was handled. Usually very happy with our stays at Marriott. Definitely not this time around.
I received TERRIBLE attention from Princess the receptionist, I was left with a very bad image of the hotel and its services
We booked a 1 night stay in a king room (all the rooms are the same layout). There are typically no Ambassador status recognition at these properties but we did get a high floor room based on our preferences.
Pros:
- The front desk was friendly
- New & modern clean rooms
- There is a bar onsite and lots of sitting in the lobby
In general it was a good option if you need to be in this area and we'd stay here again.
Nice, modern, and clean hotel and rooms! We felt safe and the area itself also offers a lot of amenities. Their breakfast was pretty decent and they offered eggs and sausage as well as biscuits or Belgian waffles. The only thing we didn't like honestly was the bed. Me and my wife were tossing and turning all night but I've definitely had worse experiences at other hotels in the past. If you plan to stay here the night before a cruise it's pretty close to Galveston and shouldn't take you more than an hour to get to the carnival cruise terminal and park (and probably an hour and a half for Royal Caribbean as it was totally disorganized on our last crusie) but things can and do get crazy on departure days so plan accordingly!
Found bugs in the bed on the mattress upon arrival. Unsure of it was bed bugs or not. But we weren't taking a chance
I loved it it's across from Walmart, Dollar General, and starbucks its the perfect area it was also very clean and they kept hot coffee. I wish they had regular sugar though, I could only find organic. They also didn't have trash bags n the room but I still gave them 5 stars because I didn't notice until the last minute when I was trying to straighten the room up. Also plenty of parking they have a restaurant open until 11 i didn't eat though and a bar open until 2!
Rooms clean with just a few weird minor damaged items. Like someone maybe tried to hang off a coat hanger, odd and or I hope they really cleaned that area up. Super friendly staff and not far from the highway. Semi hiddenish road in the back gives easy access back to the main road when it's time to leave.
Location leaves much to be desired but only because of how it's away from the main streets. I thought GPS was giving me bad directions.
There are food places less than five minutes away, so that's a plus.
Staff was friendly and helpful with their business area printer.
The room was clean, and fairly decent.
Would stay here again.
Elegant, spacious, well maintained, ALL NEW, NOT OUT-DATED HOTEL, excellent breakfast, and polite staff. They earned ALL FIVE STARS.
Great stay, but the breakfast was not the greatest. I've had better at cheaper hotels.
This is my favorite Marriott property in the Clear Lake area. It’s so clean, and always smells good. The team is always so friendly and accommodating. It’s my go to for work and personal stays in the area.
Would never recommend this place to anybody, the corner would be better. Night shift manager Dave or David threatened to call the police on me as I tried to check in under my parents reservation.
Had to reach out to Fairfield corporate to get my name added to the reservation. After doing so, Dave still wouldn’t let us in and and waited for corporate to reach out to him. Mentioned it was “policy” despite the fact we’ve checked in this way over 30 times this year.
Insane customer service for a hospitality company - no ability edit reservation, no ability to add new name to reservation, police threatened to be called because David is incompetent in being a hotel manager, and the guest wifi went down for a majority of our stay. His inability to function in role was entertaining and useless.
Feel free to reach out to me if you have any interest in remedying this situation. Dave knows who I am:)
