They watched us walk around from inside the building and never came out. Every time we looked in a car, when we walked away they would lock it. Again, from inside the building. Never spoke to us or acknowledged us once. No customer service or hospitality. Not a good way to get a sale.

Went here to get my daughter a more reliable vehicle after hers had become irreparable.
We went into this dealer and were given options of vehicles within our down payment price range. All had ridiculously high down payments and prices but we were desperate to get her a more reliable car.
We settled on the 2016 Chevy Cruz (Red) which was one of the better looking vehicles on the lot.
We came back the next morning to give the down payment and have my daughter sign her paperwork.
1. They advised that there is a GPS on the car and they would come get it if they didn't receive payment on time.
2. They required specific deductibles for insurance - not just full coverage but you have to have $500 or less on deductibles.
3. The total cost and payments were more than what the car was worth.
4. The lady up front was very curt and rude. Not good customer service at all.
They didn't wash the car first or anything.
My daughter drove the car for almost 2 months. During that time she had been waiting on them to fix a window on the driver's side that the dealership had already known about but didn't fix before selling it. When they finally got the appointment and equipment in to fix her window (needed to have the motor and glass replaced) they told her to take it to 'their' mechanic. She did and dropped off her car and was told they would call when it was done. They didn't. They took the total window kit that the dealership had ordered and only replaced something on the inside of the door but not the glass. This means they kept the glass and any other parts that they didn't use. They also never called her to let her know it was done. She had to call them and found out it had been done for a while.
When she arrived to pick up her car, nobody was around and the mechanic shop was empty. However, they had left her keys on top of her car for anyone to grab and take the car.
When she was on her way home, the car started shaking violently from under the hood. The engine was shaking and sounded horrible. She called the dealer to let them know that something had happened at the mechanic aside from them fixing the window. The dealership (lady that has always been rude) told her that she had never had an issue with them and acted like she didn't care about the keys being left on top of the car or that the engine was now making horrible sounds and shaking. She told my daughter that they weren't responsible for it and to take it to a mechanic.
The dealer and mechanic are liable for this but they won't do anything about it. The car was not able to be driven after that day. We ended up taking the car back to the dealer and dropping it off. Went to KerrTex Motors and got a nicer, less expensive, and more reliable car and service. KerrTex worked with our budget, was open and honest about everything, and guided my daughter toward being able to build credit in the future. The salesman was very nice and we felt comfortable throughout the whole process.
Family Auto is a horrible scam business that just sells you a POS that will last long enough to get them out of the liability of fixing it.
That Cruz sat in the same spot on their lot for weeks before they finally moved it to the lot to be sold. Guaranteed it didn't get fixed correctly and that window will end up breaking again.
Do NOT go here! You will regret it.
Also, "consider the source"? That is the response from the dealer. Think about that. They don't care if you aren't happy. They want to put the blame on you, the buyer, for your poor buying experience with them. Let's see what they say to this review.edit: The car's voice system for the radio and all that only spoke Spanish. The car had obviously been in an accident because there was broken glass in the trunk. They called and harassed my daughter about her insurance and her payment and threatened to come get the car if she didn't have insurance by a certain time that day. We had been in the process of switching insurance to another company. The car cost was so high that the payments were up there with what a brand new car would cost.

Sold me a lemon.day one of having my car the driver window wasnt working.no big deal, i called and they knew exactly what i was referring to.said their mechanic will fix it (2 MONTHS LATER). When i finally got to the mechanic they picked he was super rude and after 4 hours of waiting for him to call about my car, i called him.he said it had been done for a while.i finally go and pick it up and its sitting, unlocked, keys on the roof, with no one in sight.i got lucky no one stole my car.i drove it off the lot without anyone noticing or saying anything to me.i get a mile down the road and my engine starts shaking and is undrivable.this wasn’t happening prior to the mechanic visit.i call family auto and she says 1.that shes never had any problems with her mechanic leaving cars unattended and doesnt care. 2.i need to find my own mechanic and pay for the engine problem cause its not her responsibility. BULLCRAP.do NOT buy cars from here and if you unfortunately do DONT USE THEIR MECHANIC.i ultimately just dropped the car off at the lot and left the keys in the mail slot.not my problem anymore.so if you see the 2016 RED CHEVY CRUZ do NOT buy it.i doubt they fixed the problem before putting it back on the market.go to KerrTex motors, they wont sell you lemons.if i could i would give family auto negative stars

I have never been treated so poorly in my life especially since I bought a jeep patriot from them and I trade it in for a ford escape 2017 that brakes down on me day 1. Takes 2 days to fix and then brakes down wonce again. Then my ac went out all in the first 4 days.they have cursed me out, verbally and been given the run around and have been charged to and ac that was never fixed. I am now stuck doing business with this place for 7yrs. And a Limon at that. Not sure why I was singled out however no one should be treated this way.boo on family auto. Now my nightmare

Do not buy cars because all of them are Lemons! Very rude on phone when I was looking for buy used car. They were rude and hang up on me. I was like whoa! I refused go there since their deal is very expensive. Save your money and buy somewhere else! Run!

This is the worst dealership I've seen in the hillcountry. They sell lemons. (Broken cars)
And they hustle their clients. Go ANYWHERE ELSE. IF YOU WANT TO SAVE YOURSELF. I have reported them to the BBB as well. I can't believe they are still around
