Family Dollar, Houston TX

The store is ok but the rude people that work here are just enough reason not to come back. I have been coming here about 3 or 4 times a week. These ladies told me that they fired all the other workers, because I didn't recognize either of them. My total was 12 something and when I asked what my total was thats what she said 12 something.really? If that wasn't bad enough she told me this store operates on exact change only they didn't want to break my $20 dollar bill they would this time but next time bring my money on a card.what? They can't give me $7 back and was super rude I wanted to walk out. They acted like they were doing me a favor by even allowing me in there. I'm confused dont you work at this store, am I not a customer? What is wrong with them? Avoid this place unless you like being treated bad. There's a Dollar General down the road that has nice people working there.

The store manager is rude they never have money to give you cash back she talk to her employees like they not even human very unprofessional

I walked into this store location and instantly noticed the cleanliness! I was greeted upon entry and the isles and shelves were so neat and clean. I wish all of them looked this way. I believe the lady that checked me out was named Rashaun or Dashaun. She was polite and even suggested a coke to purchase.:)

It's the biggest and always fullly stocked workers are not friendly good job benefits not even a welcome or what's up angry store it's fully stock customer I'm big on that the stars for the store no workers but I see why the manager was the worst one my people shaken my m f n head! I'm hoping back just on a different day n time!

A BIG red sign on the door is saying they are hiring.associate tells my Daughter no their not hiring.the sign been on there for weeks.then tells me I can’t explain call back later to see if a manager is available.horrible associate let someone with knowledge talk to customers not some fool

Considering the location of this store, being near the medical center and adjacent to NRG, one would think that product availability would be plentiful and that shelves would be stocked and organized. The aisles were in complete disarray and boxes and product lined the floors. This felt more like a swap meet than a chain discount store

Manager didn't honor 75% off 4 or more Christmas wrapping paper stating he can't change what's the register scans no matter what the price was, the paper price was $3 the register was charging $6.25 when I showed him the price he said I had to pay the scanned price when I asked for the manager he said I am the manager what the hell kinda stuffnis this.

It's a Family Dollar.nothing special and some items are overpriced. Got what I was looking for though, thanks

Plenty of items to choose from. Clothing, kitchenware, home supply & electronics *see clerks* More bang for your buck when budgeting.

Always HOT! They close 5 hours early because the A/c has been "Broke" for 2-3 weeks. On top of that the older women with the glasses locks and guards the door 20 mins before 5pm and refuses to let customers in. Today she asked me if i could read (referring to the hand written early closing sign) when i knocked on the door at 4: 50. I asked could she tell time cuz it wasnt 5pm. She rolled her eyes and locked the door saying well we closed. Even though there was still customers inside. The manager and a few of the cashiers have great customer service but this one lady is the rudest and never has an inviting demeanor. I will be reporting her to the corporate office. FIX THE DAMN AC ALREADY

Was horrible! Waited in line for 25 minutes only to be told they didn't have change for a 100. Even though our total $45.00. Will NEVER COME HERE AGAIN. BY THE WAY WE WERE IN CASH ONLY LINE AND DUDE IN FRONT PAID CASH 65.00! SHE HAD THE CHANGE BUT DIDN'T SO IT

No longer shopping there. Normally there is no issue when I come there with my bag. I don't have a car to put my bag in and I walk from my place. For some reason being young and black with a bag means you're planning on stealing and have to place your personal belongings in the hands of complete strangers because they are located in a bad area. I am not a thief or a hood rat, you don't have to treat your customers like common criminals. No reason to harass your people, this is the second time this has happened to me but at another location that was also in a predominantly black neighborhood. Something needs to be addressed. No one likes feeling that way, it's embarrassing and rude.

DO NOT SHOP HERE. Tried to make a return, item unused, not worn still in bag with the tags still on. With the original reciept and was refused. When I asked why store associate says because it was taken off the hanger

It's not a dollar store at all, low quality goods even, nothing like Dollar tree (everything is real 1$.

They have all my garden needs and reasonable hone/garden decorations and in the right location with constant sales in toiletries and laundry products, so I really don't need to vendor to outside community stores.

We all know what a Family Dollar is, this one has everything the others do. It does look rather disheveled most of the time. The staff is friendly enough. That's why it has three instead of two stars
