Family Dollar reviews
15The visit was very nice and pleasent, but, they were so out of stock of a lot of things it was unbelievable. They don't have a variety of baby supplies at all. No baby shoes and about 2 outfits and maybe 3 shirts for girls I only saw boy socks? But the staff was very kind and friendly! They weren't very busy but busy and still willing to assist other customers. That's a plus to me. I would've given 5 stars but the fact that they were out of stock of so much was a complete bummer
Very helpful employees. The young Hispanic guy working their went out his to help me located the different items I was shopping for but couldn't locate in the store. While still trying to keep doing his job stocking the shelves. Great Job. I would recommend this store to everyone.
Ghetto run down trashy store with workers who don’t want to work. They need to start over with new management and team members.
Worker are Spanish and they can't run the register, no assisting customer on the floor, and boxes are everywhere, fully load can cause an accident,
The store is absolutely filthy, the isles are so packed you can't even get up and down the you have to go out of your way to get to a different aisle.they'd most definitely need more staff on shipment days
This Family Dollar is very cramped and they always have boxes blocking certain areas. Customer service is ok.
Ok, so prices, and the shape of the store, are in par, with any other family dollar. Usually the people make the place more "attractive" to the clientele, but the cashier was short of overtly rude. Told her twice I didn't need an item, even laid it on the counter, to the side of everything I was taking. I know she heard me telling her, she was looking at me, but just seem to not want to acknowledge my request. When my child and I turned out eyes, she scanned the item, to which I didn't noticed until making it home. Whatever, it's a few bucks. But both my kid, and I, were loud enough for her to hear us say thank you, I even looked at her, for a few extra seconds, to hear a response back, and nil. Oh well. I'll just have to make sure I turn back around, next time I go in there, and see her manning the register.
This store could be so much better if you had staff that CARE about helping people instead of just a pay check. I have been in this store and the employees are not doing anything to help, not checking people out, not making the store accessible to get up and down the isles half of the time you can't get down the isle and I can put up with a few of things but being rude is not one of them and being rude to children, young people who I've seen are well raised right, yes ma'am no ma'am yes sir no sir, these type of children who could have easily responded rude, disrespectful but didn't, the whole store needs a NEW MAKE OVER, STARTING WITH MANAGEMENT BECAUSE MANAGEMENT KNOWS AND ALLOWS IT TO CONTINUE. Sure it's in a convenient spot but I will travel farther to get what I need and be treated like a person not just a customer but a person and smile than to be treated like a pay check. Things need to change now.
It was ok. They didnt have what I was looking for. But they had a very decent supply of other things.
Convenient location. Store is disorganized. Items always seem to be out of stock - the shelves are empty a lot of the times. The outside is filthy (I attached pics) I understand it’s not in the the best/nicest area so cleanliness is not a priority but it’s sad that management doesn’t take more pride in their store. Lastly, the customer service sucks (I also understand that the store is not customer service driven) but sometimes I drive a little further for a better experience.
There is no security or safety for employees or customers at all. How do someone walk the entire store for so long and open products used to hold your store associates up to rob them. What happened to the security people who claims they watch all activity especially suspicious activity. They all were off that day or on a break I guess. As a customer who had to run out the emergency exit I wouldn't want to patronize another store so to be an employee who is subjected to this I couldn't even imagine. The company makes too much to not have live armed security/police on duty. And I know things happen but thinking on this situation it shouldn't have happened.
I'm a Lyft driver. I stopped here for one of my passengers to get something. I went in and asked if I could use the restroom. I was told "no. " I could not use their bathroom right in front of my passenger. I've never been more embarrassed.
These bird brains don’t know how to work the register let alone utilize coupons! I don’t even know if the manager is capable of understanding. Train these employees better! Last time coming here.
Place is awful and customer service is bad, there was a young girl with puffy hair told me the store was closed 15 min before the store actually closes and i tried to tell her i just needede toothpaste for my son and totally ignored me and this place needs to be a bit more cleaner, feels like a junk yard
Customer service over the phone as well in person isn’t that great. A lot of attitude given by employees, not friendly tone or cheerful greeting. I think that’s something this store could work on.
