Staff very Unprofessional rude to guest clients the lists goes on.very poor leadership etc! Also very unsanitary do not eat the food!
If you are looking for help assistance Family Gateway is not a good place to stay!
Employees are particular about who gets assistance on time or how soon. No Confidentiality + rude nasty attitude from staff members Constantly on a daily basis.

My wife and I and our 3 kids were homeless for a few mo ths and they did whatever they could do to squeeze us in.we had a entire room to ourselves because we were such a big family and I thank God everyday for them.the cook is amazing at what he do every dish we ever ate was off the chain! The staff are nice as well but they can be a grouch sometimes but only because it be some many families coming in and trying to get a place to stay its frustrating to watch

Doing my research on shelters in dallas this is best one I found. Keep up the good work! I live in Minneapolis we don't get project based vouchers at all in the homeless shelter.

Because they do so much with the children and they have excellent food. They have an actual chef here. And once a month they have a birthday party for all children born in that month

Called to ask for assistance, after asking my name and where i was located, i was immediately referred to the Bridge. No, getting any background, no check to see if they could help me, just the best thing is go someplace else.

Horrible place! My child's leg was broken from another lil child. Family moved out after my son had to have an operation n left him in a temporary cast n wheelchair. Faculty did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!

Wonderful Organization! The staff members that I was blessed to work with, were terrific. Rosi, Mr. Dexter, Jeff were a huge help. They were attentive to me and my children’s needs. They really assisted me and my family with getting out of a tough space and back on the path to self-sufficiency. I will be forever grateful for the help I received. I look forward to volunteering and paying tithes to this organization, in the very near future. Prayers and Blessings!

The staff was pleasant but they had us wait all day just to tell us they had no room and couldnt help us. They refered us to the worst shelter ever.

Lied to and abused over and over. Guess certain case workers are discriminating about who they help. I was held down and my life played with by my case worker. So called minorities get real help

When I was there it was a Godsend. The Staff was and I'm sure still are some caring, giving, and very attentive to the needs of the residents that enter their humbly abode. They helped me a lot and my grandsons were very content. For that I will forever be totally grateful. Thanks goes out to all of the Staff. Love you guys.

6 years ago, I turned to Family Gateway after finding myself homeless and struggling after being a stay at home mom for 8 years in an abusive relationship. My counselor told me that things may seem hard then, but one day I would look back and see all I have accomplished since and be amazed. She was far from wrong. I am very thankful for everything this organization had done to get me back on my feet and believe in myself. I will always be thankful for everything they had done for my son and I.

The administrative offices of Family Gateway are located on Jackson Street. This is not however where families with scheduled intakes are served. Intakes and other services for clients are located at 711 S. St. Paul.
