When you go to a "thrift store" you expect to pay $. 50 - $2.00 for items. Not $10 - $20 for clothes. They need to remove the thrift of the name.

Place USED to be a true to it's name, thrift store, not anymore.
It's very sad. I was a regular customer of what, I must assume, is a chain of these stores now I don't even attempt to go.
Simply put, it's not financially worth it whatsoever. No more days of the week where each item was under a buck. Now, you can still literally find on occasion the same thing as before sitting on the but 10x the price. Tsk tsk tsk. Suggestion, if you like their prices go to Walmart, Ross's, Marshall's save money, get a receipt and piece of mind.

I was there Sunday at 6: 40 pm and I was walking down an isle with my baby when an employee came from the opposite direction with the rack they use to put clothes where it goes and said “you know we’re about to close right” and I said “yes” she then said “oh so someone told you already and you know we’re closing” she was speaking Spanish. I looked at her and didn’t pay attention. I thought since she seen me walking she was going to move the rack but she put it in front of me to block me so I wouldn’t keep walking. I have never experience something like this and for someone to do this just blows my mind, I don’t know if she was racist because there was a couple on the isle before me and she didn’t say nothing to them.

Well im a constant buyer here at first im. Loving it then lately start disappointing me. For some reason and correct me im im wrong.
Everytime we found no price and asked for the price nobody cares everytime the cashier called someone for the price no one comes out to check on my reqeust.
How come the the pruce is higher than the regular price example we saw a set if plates unopen box at kohls cost $9 and they matked it price $12 when i akef how come and why the cashier anwered she doesnt know.
Another concern why do i need to spend $200 of that sunday the same week i purchased $50 before i will get that $50 points is this sound right? $250 for 1 week ay thrift store.
Just an opinion an points of view as pry of my review i am just alwys tranpareny gir every reviews i had to right down so im not misleading other people.

Everything is color coded. It's nice if you want to look like that, not so nice if you want to look by size

Prices are stupid now. A shirt that was originally $8 at Walmart and was marked down to $3 now that Walmart couldn’t sell it the family thrift center thinks they will sell it for $7.51 and leave the original tags on it. Never come back again. The $0.50 per item was my only reason to come here

Love! Very clean and nice thrift. Great labels. Lots of tags still on. Everything looks gently used if used at all.

So, let me get this straight. You guys went up on your prices and you’re a “regular “ store now. You don’t wash the clothes and I still have to take my hangers off? Not to mention, the selection sucks! I have never walked out with less than 10 items and all I got today was 5. This is such a disappointment. I will NOT return. This was my favorite place to shop, and I didn’t mind the funny smell of the place or that I had to remove the hangers or the disorganization. I felt that the prices and rare clothing was worth it. Oh, and the attitude of the cashier, sucks as much as your selection of clothing. I would say do better, but I know you won’t. I guess I’ll try and find another place to treasure hunt.

Yes, this location is no longer an "outlet thrift store". No, it is not a "regular" retail store now. It is still a thrift store, but it is no longer the daily price change on unsold items from other thrift stores. They do have a discount program where your purchases during the week earn you a discount on Sunday. If you're stuck on the outlet idea Family Thrift has 2 outlet centers in Pasadena and another in Sugarland.

Like previous poster said, this store is no longer an “outlet“ store like the one in Pasadena. Their prices to me are pretty high, and they do not have daily color specials as other thrift stores do. Everything was full price today when I went. Housewares were especially high priced and Disorganized. Walked out of the store with nothing.
