Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que, El Paso TX

First time here. There was a lot of tables available but we sat in the corner of the restaurant. Like wow! Are we not good enough for a booth.

Great food, service from entrance to exit fries were not so great, I recommend not to fry them too much they dry out.

Slow service. Took waitresses 30 minutes to bring out a bowl of chili - said it was because she was cashing out the table next to us. By the time she brought side out, we had already finished our meals.

Amazing service, sure the food was good, the price reflects that. But the guy serving us was courteous, professional and fready the whole time. We gave him a good tip for it of course, but I still wish he just had a real salary rather than having to rely on tips.

Had a gender reveal party for 20 people in the patio area. Area is great other than the fact that one of the ac units didn't work right and it was a bit stuffy. The place is short staffed but the wait staff did great, considering.

Food was great. I had a sandwich with brisket and sausage - on point.

The service was excellent we had a party of 8. We knew what we would eat our host did not hesitate to help or take pictures of our family. The food was delicious!

We have always celebrated my husband's bday there by ordering the feast. We also had my sons graduation party there. They always accommodate us to meet the needs of my son with severe autism. We love it! This year because of COVID, we ordered the feast for pickup for my husband's birthday. I was very disappointed, first because it took me several times to get through, the phone just rang and no one answered, then they told me it would take about an hour and a half to be ready, which I didn't mind because I drive about 40 minutes to get there. My son drove to pick up the order and when he got home, the feast was missing the corn. It was a feast for 5-6 people but only came with 2 cornbread muffins. The ribs were undercooked and tough and we had to throw them out. I paid 70.00 and only ate a smidgen of food. I called them to speak to a manager, they had me on hold for over an hour and the manager never picked up! I dont think we'll go there again and if anyone orders pickup please check your order! This was at the Westside location.

Amazing never been disappointed with eating here. We are a big family and getting the all American combo I believe and it is really enough. If you like brisket then you might need to ad some on the side unfortunately. The cornbread muffins are delicious as well.

Called left me on hold for about 30 mins and hanged up on me then i tried placing an order online and said it couldnt.

15 minutes after we put the time for food delivery, no update online and not a change to get thru the phone line. Calling and calling. Supposed to be something special for the family and kids during covid.nothing but stress.not happy at all. Probably won't order again since. Feeling uninformed and unappreciated with zero feedback on when and IF we will have food

I haven't been here in years and the service AND food has gotten better than before.which was really good.keep up the good work. I wish there was one in the DFW metroplex

Stop dealing with some family I was visiting at the time. They were pretty busy but took care of us in a timely manner. The service was good the food was great and the checkout girl was wonderful. She even provided my mother with some of those pig ears that they had at the time. Very sweet of her to do. I will definitely stop in on my next visit to El Paso. Thanks

Worst experience ever so sad since it was our first time here when we got here they told us 45 min wait and I was ok like 1 hours round it off we waited 1 hour 1/2 n still told me we r still clean your table and took another 20min if I could give it 0 stars but I’m giving 1 star because the food was good

Because the only time we were there we took it to go and they didnt give us forks, spoon's or napkins and when they gave us the order the employee took off and didnt even try to help us fix it and thats not right doing that to a customer so that why I gave this my rating

Cool and nice staff. I have not eaten at a FDs for so many years. The bbq is just not as good as so many other places. The corn bread is the best part of the restuarant.

I am here right now. I ordered a draft Dos Equis and after a looong wait they don't have any so I ordered a Shiner draft and after a long wait they don't have any so I asked for a bottle of Dos Equis. Guess what another long wait and they don't have any. Since I'm finished with my meal I'm going down the street to Chili's to get a beer.

We had been here once before, and on this trip to El Paso our kids begged to go back! Great food (we had the Family-Style feast) - their cornbread muffins are out of this world! Great service - the waiter brought our kids special hats which they loved! We will be back again sometime!

Food was very good as always. Ribs and brisket are very tender and flavorful, all sides are very good too. Our server was attentive but left us unattended for long periods of time.

Had the two meat combo, chopped pork was 5 star, brisket was 3 star. Wait ress spent most of her time talking to her boyfriend, who was seated near us. Another server had to bring our food while she sat at his booth. Really good food, mediocre service. We'll be back for the food!
