Super rude staff! Will absolutely not care what is going on with your animal, Doctor’s themselves are good (sometimes) but good luck dealing with that awful staff. Never taking my dog back to this place.

My small dog was choking on a plum pit, I drove to far east animal care, I went to the entrance it said open, I pulled on the door it was locked I kept trying to open the door while they just ignored me, I ended up driving to the another vet on wedgewood Dr where they took him right in and got the pit out.unbelievable how heartless the people at Far East Animal Care.

They made my very sick furry family member better… Great staff great Vet. Very professional the only thing that was different is that you’re not in with your pet like other places they take them to the back and then come out and give you options. Overall great place.

I should have never read these reviews. It cost me hundreds. On Wednesday I went to three vets. The third one was here. I gave them the exams from the other two vets and this place actually treated my dog instead of trying to get me to spend more money on tests. My dog is 15. I do not need to spend 3500 on exploratory exams like the hospital on airway tried to get me to do. Or take out a care credit card and “go big” like banfield suggests I do. My dog has congestive heart failure. Which was seen in the original xray. Did they tell me that. No. Did they keep asking to run more tests. Yep. Why didn’t the other two vets treat it? Shameful really…. They just wanted more and more tests. They could see I was in distress and I feel the other vets only wanted to take advantage of me in a vulnerable time.

Other reviews said they waited a long time. It’s true. I waited a while. But I would wait forever if it’s worth it. What’s the good in fast service if it doesn’t produce good outcomes?

Not only did they give me a dx, they also treated it at a fraction of the price the airway place wanted. Funny thing is we used airways xray for the dx here. Why didn’t airway know how to dx chf?

This is my vet now. It’s busy and you wait. But again I would wait all day if it heals my dog. Obviously people know they are good and that’s why they are so busy. And with their reasonable prices… there is no reason to go anywhere else.

All these people with bad reviews obviously didn’t go to the animal hospital on airway first or bandfield before coming to far east. However I did them all in one day and the difference in treatment was clear. I can’t recommend the other two but I would recommend this place. They actually have my baby overnight now. Again for a fraction of what airway wanted.

Most of the doctors and techs are great.

Everything else about this place needs improvements.

Instead of a text system, I suggest a message portal where owners can see labs and message you all there. This would eliminate the owner frustrations around one number per pet for hospitalizations and reduce phone calls.

If you require patients to come in for labs after a hospitalization then you all should have it be an express appointment. IE: we bring out animal in, you all take them back pull the vials, then call with results. Especially, if it’s just lab draws. I went in at 10: 30 and didn’t leave until after 2pm.

I brought my dog in after our regular vet got him stabilized from heat stroke and you all wanted me to leave him in the car and wait for your staff inside so I could walk them to my car. My vet called ahead and told you the severity of the situation and you all acted like it was nothing of importance.

I also had a pet put to sleep here and the front staff seems to not have any compassion or sympathy. Just pay and leave attitude. Majority of my issues are with the front staff and their flippant behavior and lack of compassion.

Surgeon is amazing here but literally everything else about this place sucks. How they treat the animal parents. From how long anything takes to even get simple information to being given incorrect information altogether. If you need surgery, this doctor is the one. If you need ANYTHING else, you're better off going to anywhere else.

Terrible service.brought my kitten in because she had been throwing up multiple times and once we arrived we had to wait two hours for them to see my kitten and once they did they kept her for two hours in the back “running tests” but could find nothing wrong with her.after they brought back my baby from the back she was shaking uncontrollably and seemed to be worse than when she came in.the doctor was very rude and dismissive and proclaimed that “not everything has a solution” and sent us home without any help as to what is wrong with my baby.having to spend an absurd amount of money at a pet hospital just to be sent home with no solution is taking advantage of their position and their clients.

Everyone here is so nice & amazing. Thank you EVERYONE for all you do! This is now my favorite veterinarian office to go to!

My friend brought her pups there and I had a wonderful first time experience knowing I can bring my pets here with no fear

I having a hard time posting this because they had help in the past. Our pet was close to passing away that they gave us false hope, when we had little money and we spent it to help our pet and it didn’t help she was pain until she passed. Today, It was emergency and they turn us away because we came 1 hr before they open. The young Vet should have been honest about our pet’s chances.

Very caring, professional and extremely clean. I took my Odis whenever he was ill and also on his last day here with us. Thank you for your kindness and understanding, Far East Animal Care.

Don’t you dare to ask about the treatment! Don’t you ask for the result of lab work or the X-rays!
Don’t even ask for pain medication even if you dog is literally suffering!
They treat my dog gave us options and suggested treatment that we follow but when we ask for medication for pain and take my dog home they said that we decline the treatment. They want to hospitalized and possibly an exploratory surgery. When we only decline the hospitalization, they gave my dog some medication pouches under her skin that burst open and on top of what she had, now she also have an open wound on her skin. When we when back we were denied services because my husband ask for all the stuff they did and why didn’t got any meds for pain. My dog almost die that day. They didn’t care.

It's unbelievable that this place leaves people waiting outside. These days the heat is very strong. They dont care what happen to the clients and patients who visit them. It is a total lack of respect and empathy. Dont call yourself professional.cause you are not.

Terrible hospitality! They make you wait inside your vehicle and they don't even let you in with your pet? How do we know if our pets even get vaccinated, check up etc? What if we have questions for the vet?
