Far Out Home Fittings reviews
12Stopped by this place for the first time today and had a great experience! Super cool selection of stuff and reasonable prices. The employees went above and beyond to show me some rugs and even loaded up my car for me. 10/10!
Expensive for what is offered. More like a garage sale at Dillard’s prices.
Nice people, cool to walk through.
Staff helpful when asking if I could unload a joerns Bros antique dresser. Texted me after the call, very polite.
Great place for all sorts of vintage things - clothes, furniture, housewares, games, records, instruments.you name it!
Far Out is my favorite place in Austin to look for antique, vintage, and unique pieces. Every time I'm in the area I stop by and there's cool new stuff, it's always changing. We've gotten vintage stereo speakers (excellent condition & sound), the most comfortable leather love seat recliner, several large ceramic planters, and a stainless steel pocket knife. Great deals to be had, and the owners & employees are so nice, especially for putting up with my bargaining!
Got some really great items for a major bargain. Kevin is the man! I’ll definitely be stopping back periodically to see what new stuff they have in.
This place rules. So much fun and not over priced. Can’t believe I snagged a complete millennium falcon from them.
Cool eclectic spot. Very old school south Austin vibes. Parking is available, but be careful not to miss the driveway. If you do there is street parking but you’ll have to walk a few hundred feet. They have a large selection of light up sign letters.
Underwhelming at first in my opinion but there is a lot to choose from in this place.
You can find very unique items but expect to have to do some searching.
Not everything is worth how much they’re ticketed for but everything is negotiable and many items are underpriced so it evens out.
Loved it here! Lots of help finding items and pricing, great conversation and service. Finally got my first multi-tool knife.
This place is amazing. Definitely have to come back once a month to see what else they bring
This is my favorite vintage store in Austin; I could spend hours here! It’s one of the few places where the prices are still reasonable. Full of authentic items and cool finds that are changing all of the time. I stop in a few times a year to see what’s new and always leave with something. If you are outfitting a home or looking for a statement piece for your apartment, VISIT THIS STORE FIRST! You won’t regret it. Also, the owner and employees are awesome… support their business so that this gem can flourish for years to come!
P. S. You should go around the store at least twice or you might miss the treasure that you didn’t know you needed. It’s THAT packed with great finds!
