Do not use FedEx Canada for personal international shipments from the US.
Received an unsolicited package (granted Christmas presents from Grandma) that were clearly labelled "GIFT. " Then received a bill from FedEx Canada demanding payment. Not just the $25 (about $20USD) that they inexplicably paid in duties on a gift, but $75 (about $56 USD) in fees for negotiating the duty that should have never been paid.

And it gets even better. They sent the bill with payment demand after the terms (which they also set) for arguing about charges (based on the date they pad the duty) had long past.

The company has been unresponsive to inquiries and has just continued to send automated bills, threatening to send the matter to collection.

Needs to say, Grandma now knows to no longer use the shylarks at FedEx Canada. CanadaPost is a much better option.

Horrible customer service every-time something is shipped through you guys it always has a barcode exception so then I have to call to get a proper delivery window because it sits with an exception for days which delays the delivery process. The tracking information does not get updated when this happens so then I have to call to try and get an update only to be lied to every-time because you guys can’t get your business together. I was promised a 10: 10 to 2: 10 delivery window it is currently 10: 22 and the package isn’t even on the truck for delivery. I tried to call to see if it’s going to be delivered today so I could just go to work and not miss work like I did the last time only for you guys just not to come but you guys have blocked my phone number from being able to talk to a customer service representative what kind of company does that? I work for a shipping company and this is unacceptable what kind of a company blocks customers from talking to customer service representatives when they have delivery questions this is a large package this just ain’t some little box!

FedEx used to be the best company but now when we get a delivery they leave our packages by our garage because they don’t want to walk to our front door that has a covered porch. We have had two deliveries lately that have sat in inclement weather, one was a check that was left in the rain and the other was medicine that was in a black envelope that said “Fragile” and “Refrigerate when received” and they left that in the hot sun. It would take them 30 seconds to walk it to our door. I just don’t get it! Ohhh and don’t call there customer service # because they are NO help. When did this company get to be so bad? Unless I have NO other option I will no longer use them to ship anything!

Carriers don't do their job and are rude and will run off with your package if they "feel threatened".
No one wants their doorbell rung anymore, just drop the package and do your job.
I will never use fedex for my company again.

Package was delivered to wrong address, and fedex denied my claim and is telling me thiers nothing they can do, and that thiers no number for corporate.very stressful I need my reimbursement for my package!

If you want to flip a coin to decide if your package is going to arrive use FedEx as your shipping service. I’ve had more packages “lost” or not delivered by FedEx than I care to count. If you want your package to make it to its destination use UPS, USPS, or even DHL. How this company is still in business is baffling.

Worst customer Service I talked to 4 recordings that hung up on me because I couldn’t give them DOOR TAG# or shipping #. All I received from Fed Ex was an Email that they were holding a package for delivery to my home for a correct address.

Absolutely the worst customer service ever, could not get a human representative to help me after I exhausted all the automated options and none of those applied to my case. Got hung up by the system 3 times.

FedEx has one job and they cannot figure out how to do it right to save their life. If they brought back the Pony Express, I would choose them over FedEx.

I had a shipment in two separate packages that was due to be delivered to me 2 days ago. Yesterday the driver shows up at my door with one of the two packages (the one that is useless without the other one), and says he has the other one in his truck and just needs to find it. So I'm waiting by my door for him to find my other package as he proceeds to drive away, never to be seen again.

I still don't have the package and don't have the first clue when I will, even though I need it for tomorrow. It took 3 calls to customer service to get anyone to even attempt to lift a finger about it, and they have informed me that I should get it tomorrow (probably).

Absolute joke of a shipping company.

I had a package shipped to me that never made it. When tracked it showed was delivered. Problem is delivered to wrong place after calling several times they gave me an address on different street 2 blocks over and a block down I went there the people said noughthing there except a note they got few minutes before I got there said sorry missed you try to redeliver tomorrow since then noughting this package is a photo album of my uncle that just passed. And FedEx acts like no big deal. And can't talk to anyone in charge worst customer service ever!

I was so pleased with notary services and simplicity of mailing pkg. I truly do not the staff could have done anything else to make our visit more pleasant.

The automated system is awful. Save a buck to provide terrible service.

I had to call a physical location and have them transfer me to an actual customer service rep because the automated system refused to do so.

I don't know a single person that wants to communicate with an automated system, especially one the literally refused to let me talk to someone. Funny that my problem was solved within 5 minutes once I talked to a human.

Bring back actual customer service and ditch the automated system and I'll adjust my review. The rep was great but ultimately the experice with the phone system was terrible.

10 days sitting at their depot.
Management should contact me but they dont care.
Now they tell me it's lost and offer me $12.
Pathetic organization.
Use DHL - never a problem.

Package sent out if New York 11/08/22 and here it is the 26th, no package and not one person to talk to. Automated system. Sorry company and online tracking has no info at this time, for a whole week now. What a sorry company just a rip off joke

I called, emailed, and chatted but fedex still failed to fix the issue they created. I’m done. PSA: ship UPS if you care about your experience and your customers experience.

They are very hard to reach by telephone about shipping preferences (not depositing my packages in the mud in front of my work shop) and about their aggressive tailgating driver.

I WILL BE FILING A COMPLAINT WITH THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU!

I mailed a package Monday, tracking # 278682037062. It was due to be delivered to UBRL labs today. The package contains time sensitive blood samples. UBRL JUST sent me an email stating that FedEx attempted to deliver but did not, that they have been there in the lab and NOBODY came in or stopped by. I need this package delivered by tomorrow or else those blood samples will no longer be any good!

Fedex independently sucks at delivering packages on time regardless of the overall economy. Fedex sucks in 2022 and has sucked for about a decade now. I would say get it together, but every other interaction with your brand suggests you don't care about your customers. I hope you go bankrupt while your competitors soar.
