Fire Bowl Cafe reviews
16 What can I say? Where else can you create your own stir-fry meal, and have if freshly prepared within minutes of choosing? Fire Bowl. That's where. Pick a protein (beef, chicken, shrimp, or tofu), select your favorite veggies, hate broccoli then get bean sprouts. Don't like carrots, no problem. Love water chestnuts, pile 'em on. Then choose your sauce. From sweet, zesty, mildly spicy to 6 alarm HOT. Finally, decide on white rice, brown rice, side of greens, Ramen lo-mein, rice vermicelli and like 4 more choices.
Within minutes your own concoction is brought to your table, piping hot. Fresh and Steaming in front of your face to calm those hunger pangs. Yum.
“Basil fried rice” taste no basil and there isn’t even a single leaf in there either. Big rip off for the price
Superb and fast. No non sense high quality clean Asian food! Still awesome after 20 years.
Doesn’t get better - Legendary
• Singapore noodles - 3 pepper hot. Ask to make it with rice instead of noodles. So good! Ask for less or no sugar. ***
Loved - must order again
• Pot stickers
• Coconut soup. Has rice in it already. So good!
• Their chili oil ***
I don’t usually leave reviews but this place was unexpectedly bad. The place is clean, food came out looking great. The pad Thai and general thaos chicken tasted nothing like they should and lacked so much flavor. The dishes tasted “off”. We should have complained but really would be content with a refund. The food should have been tossed.
Food is generally good and feels fresh.
But this is the second time I ordered the veggie mix with baby corns, and they were just awful - hard and not tasty at all.
This place never disappoints. It had been over a year since I last dined in because I don't live in the area, and I was very pleased with the consistency in friendly staff, clean dining area, food comes out quick and hot, and of course delicious. Looking forward to dining here again and hopefully it will be much sooner.
Indoor and outdoor seating available. I ordered a tofu stir-fry with custom veggies (up to 5) with brown rice and Szechuan garlic sauce. You have a choice of rice or noddles for your stir-fry. It came very quickly and was pretty good.
Good food, but for the third time, delivery did not include requested condiments and utensils.
Rice vermicelli with spicy peanut sauce is always my favorite in Fire bowl cafe. Last time though I tried Lemon Basil sauce with lemon grass and I loved it too. My husband had the Spicy thai pepper sauce with chicken. I love how you can customize veggies, and the variety of choices they have for sauces and noodles. Really yummy too. Last but not least their Thai summer roll and veggie spring rolls are so delicious. I always get them. My husband loves the spring roll and I love their summer roll. It comes with. Side of peanut sauce. They also have vegetarian sauces and tofu option. Would definitely go back there.
Came in for dinner and decided to try the pad Thai. Probably the blandest pad Thai I’ve ever had. Flavor was barely noticeable. Next time, I’ll try something with a little spice in it. My advice, skip the pad Thai.
Haven't been there in several yea4s because we moved away but the food is still good. Food is now served in paper containers and they're also affected by inflation so their prices are up and portions are down. When we were regular, it was usually pretty busy but now there is construction in the street out front making it harder to get there.
Create your own bowls to get exactly what you want. Large portions that will definitely be enough for two meals.
Nice outside seating area if you so choose. Went during lunch hour and pleasantly surprised is not too busy. Service was fast and friendly. And the food choosen (stir fried) was very good. I definitely will come back again!
The quality of the food has declined since my last visit. I was surprised that it was served in low quality paper bowls. I know that the cost of food and supplies is much higher than it was several years ago, but their cost cutting measures detract from the overall experience
Really fresh food, spotlessly clean. We would rather patronize a local spot vs a chain, but we had literally just walked out of a local place due to their cleanliness. Fire Bowl was immaculate. Thanks!
