Firestone Complete Auto Care reviews
16I went in to get a new tire when the kid went to put the spare tire back under my truck they stripped the crank out and wouldn't admit they broke it.
They accommodated me last minute and at a as very trainable price for a desperately needed tire repair while we were on a road trip. Thank you to these guys for all their help.
Was there for a minor repair after having called the day before. Was there two hours with no work performed so I left.
Called to check the status of my vehicle, and they told me it was still being looked at, but I happened to be near and decided to stop by and notice my car still parked. Walked in, and they just handed me my keys and said we couldn't find anything. Clearly something was wrong if the AC isn't blowing cold air.
Was recommended to Firestone for alignment service. Came into shop my truck was looked into and was given 2 options alignment to their best capability for $104 which would only fix the issue temporarily or replacing parts for $283 which would solve the issue completely. Based on my budget I could only go for the alignment took 10 minutes and they gave me my truck back. Nothing changed I was still having the same issue. I went to a local shop they looked into the truck and was told that no parts replacements were needed and an alignment would fix the issue. Issue was fixed and they charged me $65 for the service. Definitely not that the service I would expect from a shop like firestone and it seems they were just trying to scam for the pricier service.
I have taken my company’s vehicle to Firestone-McPherson for repair THREE TIMES. The van failed to start. First time they replaced the battery. Worked good for one week and it failed to start again. Took it in for the second time and they said the battery (new one) was defective. One week and again it failed to start. Took it the third time and they said that the battery, starter, and alternator were good.
THEY DID NOT FIND THE PROBLEM! I’ll make sure we don’t go to Firestone again. They’re incompetent and expensive.
DO NOT COME HERE! Came here for an oil change and they left the oil filter loose, I was leaking oil all the way home and didn’t notice until I saw the puddle under my truck.
These guys really worked hard to get me out of there I really appreciate it they are great
Took my Range Rover in because breaks warning light came on. After about a 3 hour diagnostic, I was told that I had to replace my rear break pads, rotars and sensors. Additionally, that the break fluid had to be flushed because it was contaminated. They said that the breaks gauged at #2. I asked for an estimate and after a few hours they emailed me the estimate. It was for almost $1000.00.
I decided to take vehicle to the Land Rover dealership where I purchased the vehicle. After an inspection of my breaks and with me present as witness. They showed me that the breaks pads, rotars were fine. They were gauged at #8. The reason for the warning light was because the front right break sensor was damaged. Sensor was replaced free of charge.
Firestone, your technicians apparently done have a clue as to what they are doing. How can you come up with a bogus diagnostic and estimate. Unbelievable. Never again.
Custumer service very bad super aggressive no personal to attend, facility in hazardous condition for employees. I don’t recommend to anyone.
Too expensive for Labor work. Was gonna pay $1800 for parts and labor for just an alignment. I went and bought the parts on my own and got my own mech. Saved me $900 The people were very respectful and nice so that wasn't a problem at all!
Friendly and professional. The estimated time they gave was fairly close to the actual time it took to perform the service. Unfortunately they could not fix my issue but they gave me a reasonable explanation. Customer waiting area is a bit small and uncomfortable. Not too bad, I can see using them again.
Excellent service, tires i bought ride smooth, 6 months tire rotation & balance for a life time of the vehicle
Had to start bringing rental trucks up here for tire fixes and oil changes. Can’t brag enough, the managers are great and the service is friendly and professional. Tv while you wait is cool, they have a soda machine and a phone charger bay. Ever need any automotive fixes or checks, Firestone has you
Took hours only for a quote when they were supposed to actually work on the breaks but didn't bother telling that the mechanic who was supposed to work on them had left hours earlier. Tire pressure light was on in my car, and they assured me that they had already checked and filled my tiress. Too many cars, not enough people to work on them who are skilled enough to work them.
Went to a different, better business who actually saw to my tires and the light never came back on.
I gave 1 star because thats the lowest available option. Customer service is terrible with no updates for over 6 hours. They ask for approval to run a die test to check for leaks. I had to talk to the manager after being put on hold for an extended period. I asked them to check power steering leaks and replace the pump is necessary. Manager asked me to take the vehicle for 4 days and being it back to confirm leaks on die test. Very unprofessional to say the least. If they are unable to provide a service, they should say we are unable or lack the knowledge/certifications to work on this.
