Firestone Complete Auto Care, Houston TX

They usually give great service. Had to go back because they didn't recommend that my daughter's car needed new wipers. Had to go back to get them replaced.

Pure scam in all firestone locations.
Be careful they have mechanics worse than street mechanics who complete theft.

I'm not sure where to start. But essentially I wanted to ensure Mario and his team received the upmost praise for their customer service and assistance. I made the mistake a couple of weeks ago being cheap and went to another vehicle service provider and it put my vehicle in a bind. Came running to Mario this morning to fix my car and they were super helpful and ensured I was well taken care of. I just wanted to say, my experience with this team (and especially Mario today) has always been a great one and I've learned my lesson and will only be loyal to this team moving forward when it comes to the needs of my and my family's vehicle's.

I stopped in after a long day of work because I had trouble with my battery, as soon as I walked in Mario the manager made me feel welcome and ensured that they would take care of my vehicle and as they promised I haven’t had a problem since they’ve fixed it, but when that time comes I know where I’m taking my car!

I rolled in today on a surprise flat tire. These guys could sense my anxiety about being on a flat so far from home, and despite being short staffed, made time to swap my flat for the spare so that I could get home. I asked several times to please allow me to pay them for their help, and they refused to even charge me. I was in and out within 10-15 minutes. Immensely grateful for the staff at this Firestone location.

They didn't have the battery I was looking for (I guess it was my fault that I ended up there for a car battery), but they very graciously jump started my car coz it won't start after I stopped there and turned it off.
Polite staff, but a little short-handed, or so it seemed to me while I was there.

Many upsells for services your auto will not need, don’t fall for their games, this place is no different

Firestone has done a good job on keeping my 2000 Toyota Solara running. I am retired and do not want the expense of a new car nor the insurance payments that go with it. They have repaired my electric window and door when they were inoperable (the electrical system went out). They repaired my broken axle (my husband hit a curb) and transmission. They provide preventive maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotation and balance. I would recommend Firestone for those who need extensive repairs on their cars. I am very pleased with them and hope that you will find them ethical and competent to take care of your automobile needs as well. Sharon W

Bad experience at this location as far as customer service goes. I'm sure the technicians are great but one of the employee on the inside has a bad attitude toward people based on their race. Will disclose more soon.

Always impeccable service and the Manger Jeff, is very nice and extremely knowledgeable. I brought my 02 silverado in for an alignment and man ill tell you what. His tech know what they are doing. Truck is driving nice and smooth and straight as a arrow. Thanks again fellas.

Have always taken my car here, with suspension performance mods. Never, and I mean, never been told that my car cant be aligned due to those components, which I installed before ever taking my car here, and didnt wanting to honor my unlimited alignment package. Again I paid for it after the performance mods.

I decided to take my car to another firestone, they said they will align my car.

My family has been using this Firestone for years and have had great service. A few days ago I had a kitten that somehow got into and stuck between the front grill and radiator of my car. I couldn’t get it out myself, so I took it to Firestone to get it out. The crew there did a great job getting the kitten out safely. I am thankful that they were able to help out with this bizarre situation. Will continue to use this Firestone in the future.

Jeff that mans the front desk is extremely welcoming and competent. The prices are far more reasonable than other places around here and they got me in and out in a decent amount of time even though I was a walk in.

Was told it was time to have my breaks done, so I had them replaced for $$$. When I got my car back, I immediately noticed a loud distracting sound upon releasing the break that sounds like rubber rubbing against rubber. My car wasn't making any noise pre break job, yet now it is post brand new break job, which is a problem.

I took my car back in to this same Firestone the very next day and they tried again. The 2nd time, my car still came back making the same obnoxious sounds. I'm from out of town, so I had to wait a few weeks to be back in Houston to bring my car back into this location a 3rd time, and after a full day of keeping my car, they called and said the engineer couldn't hear the noise (which was strange because everyone in my family notices it right away.) After keeping my car overnight, I went back up the following day and took the engineer on a test drive and he confirmed he could hear the noises and would see what he could do. After having my car for 3 days, I finally picked up my car and was told they upgraded the break materials to higher grade materials (why were the materials not high grade to begin with?) and I'm gutted writing this, but the squeaky brake sounds are STILL there.

So disappointing! At this point I feel I will need to take my car elsewhere to get this problem fixed. I don't think Firestone will be able to fix this and honor their "Firestone Promise, " (work warranty), so at this point I wish I could get my money back to get my brakes properly fixed elsewhere. My family has used this Firestone for over 20 years, servicing 4 cars, and has given them thousands of dollars of business, but this is unacceptable.

UPDATE: I took my car to another business mechanic and he heard the noise immediately and told me Firestone damaged my rotors with a wire brush (They scratched too hard while cleaning it and there were deep ring scratches all around the rotors) and also said the rotors had a bad cut and would need to be replaced for the breaks to be fixed properly. He also confirmed my break pads were sub par quality, yet these were the "upgraded" materials Firestone gave me. This guy fixed the problem on the first try. Bottom line, don't get you breaks done at Firestone unless you want your car returned damaged, making noise, with sub-par parts! Go to Car Pros on Telge Rd and ask for Will! I would still like that refund from Firestone.

I have been getting my vehicles serviced at this location for several years, and everyone is always helpful.

Been coming here awhile now and they take care and resolve issues. My car seems to be a pain but they figure out what's wrong and keep me updated throughout the process. (Car is a pain to me, sometimes) They're very friendly and helpful. Over and beyond most other stores, I have been to. Keep it up

I’d like to especially thank Jeff, for always being so helpful and knowledgeable. Since I’ve been coming here, Jeff’s always been consistent with his knowledge, help, and great attitude.
