Fish Pro's Aquarium Center, Amarillo TX

Just went to bring my son to the exhibit in the back but we spent quite a while looking around before even going back. When we did go back it was really cool. The staff was super friendly.

Absolutely amazing experience. We got to see the caymans, feed the turtles, and pet the rabbits. Very helpful staff. Highly recommend!

Went in there today to purchase fish, alot of fish and not one associate ask me to see if I needed help. Two associates were just talking to each other and not helping anyone. So my wife and I walked out and probably won't go back.
They need to work on their customer service.
Their prices have really gotten expensive

These guys know their stuff.
Stop by. The Reptile Zoo is awesome. The Crocodiles are kinda scary tho.

I get my meal Worms for my Dragon here. They are great and super sweet people. My son saves his quarters so he can feed the Koy fish and turtles

John at Fish Pros was outstanding. He went out of his way to be certain I had what I needed for a huge 2500 gallon stock tank being converted to an outdoor aquarium. He knew every detail about fish and plants that would be best.excellent people excellent store

Nice place to take kids so they can explore. My 2 year old granddaughter loved it. Getting to see all the reptiles, fish, snakes and lizards. I highly recommend.

They take care of their fish good and all but I wish they spent a little more attention to their rodents especially their guinea pigs. Small cages and no food or water

I recently purchased a medusa pleco from here. I asked the owner about the ick in the tank on the other fish and was told that the tank was being treated for the parasite. That day I only put a partial payment on the pleco I was purchasing and a week later, I paid the rest of the bill ($75 in total) and took my fish home. I started noticing a few white spots (ick) on the pleco, so I had planned to get treatment for my tank today. Before I could start treatment, the pleco died. I have had the fish for 1 week and 1 day and when I called them I was told that they would only guarantee the fish for 1 week. Because it was 1 day past, all they could do is test my tank water. I was never even told that they had a 1 week policy for these things. Also, there is nothing wrong with any of my other fish and tank parameters are all good and stable. I cannot believe that they were treating the tanks. That fish had to have been sick for a while. I would not recommend supporting this business. They do not care for their animals/customers properly.

I wish I could give them 10 stars. This is a great store with great service. This hobby can be hard and it can be disappointing and discouraging and you can set a lot of money on fire ordering online.
This hasn’t been the case with my purchases from here so far. Beautiful and happy fish that have acclimated well.
If you’re reading this review you should be confident in supporting these guys. Even if you’re a couple hundred miles away do yourself solid and make the trip.
Don’t order online—go see people face to face. This hobby needs places like this to be sustainable. You should support them.

Always a great experience! Handled a gift card issue like the pros they are, and the animals always look to be in great condition. Great local business!
