FIT Athletic Club, Houston TX

This a good gym.
I can't say that I have been to a lot of gyms, but this place really presents itself very well. It also does a good job of maintaining the basics.
The front staff are friendly and helpful. Te equipment is well maintained, clean, and modern looking. I tend to frequent the treadmills and I can attest to the quality of the machine and its performance. The place also maintains a decent air conditioning system and has multiple water dispensers that have ice cold filtered water. The gym also has a great location. It is easily accessible from Waugh or Gray and has plenty of free parking. Lastly, if you want to grab a bite to eat after your workout, you got options in the gym and from the nearby grocery stores (Whole Foods and Kroger). Give this place a shot. They even give you a free week trial to try it out!

State of the art equipment, professional and friendly staff, but most importantly their cleaning staff. They do an amazing job day in and day out in keeping the restrooms extremely clean, fully stocked towels and they do it with a smile.

Friendly staff and the personal trainers are really good and knowledgeable. D. J. 's help and sessions are highly recommended!

Exceptions staff and gym. Cleaning is a constant and appreciated. I highly recommend this gym which has all the best equipment. Special shout out to Jorge!

Love this gym. It monthly membership is a good price for what you get. Professional staff and super clean! Daniel trains me, my husband and lots of our friends. He is filled with knowledge on appropriate workouts for your body type along with nutrition advice.

The best gym I've ever been a part of. I've been a member for about 10 years, and have been going to gyms for 38 years.they have good equipment, wide variety of services and most important, great people. The manager is excellent. They have boxing equipment and great free weights which is hard to find both in one gym.

Awesome place! They have their own smoothie bar inside and stand up tanning machine, the place is pretty clean also! Definitely recommend it for anyone in the Houston area to go check them out

Be careful with the contract you sign. I canceled due to safety concerns around the weekly break ins to vehicles in the parking lot and the we're very hard to deal with when trying to cancel.

Love the classes- especially Ben’s kickboxing! Sometimes when I reallllyy don’t want to go to the gym, I’ll go to his class because I know I’ll have a great time. Overall, great gym! Could use some eucalyptus in the steam room and a couple more stretching mats though:)

This Athletic Club has the best management in Houston. They really care about you as a member and there are always there to help. All the staffs working there are nice people. The variety of Group classes are perfect and you always have an option. The Gym and machines are clean and they are always providing the best service.

BEST GYM IN HOUSTON. Amazing crowd in this gym. Restroom always super clean. I moved further away from the gym but still go to fit because it’s the best. 10 Star to me. Trainers and management are super nice.

Nice and Neat place memberships can be a little pricy but they are worth it. Plenty and well maintained equipment. Spinning and classes studios and a well stocked. Locker room with day lockers sauna. Steamroom. And normally not very crowded

Clean, not crowded during lunch, all the amenities that you need (i.e. Towel service, Sauna, Smoothie bar, Group X) Priced comp to other gyms in the area.

This place is pretty clean. A lot smaller space than I'm use to but for the most part it's like a mini Life time.

The showers in the men's locker rooms smell like sewage. I don't know if it's the water or coming from the drain. Either way, this is terribly dangerous!

Love this gym and have been a member for 8 years. Clean and friendly staff. Love the steam room and all that it has to offer. Good smoothies too! Ask for Scott.
