Flamingos vintage pound austin reviews
10 When I first came in, I wasn't sure if there was an employee working. There a greeting nor did I see anyone until I peaked behind the counter that I saw someone sitting on their phone.
I would say compare to the other stores in the area, this is the most affordable.
I personally thought the selection would be a little nicer, it’s pretty much like a good will just a nicer aesthetic. They had some good vintage finds but $100 for a graphic tee, not worth it for me.
Small, some cute true 'vintage' pieces if you're under a size 16. But if you're plus size like me, (size 20/22) unfortunately not worth the look.
When I first came in, I was confused if there was any employee working. There was no greeting nor did I see anyone on the floor except other customers. It wasn’t until I peaked behind the counter that I saw someone sitting. Kinda weird imo.
I would say compare to the other stores in the area, this is the most affordable. I got a silk shirt for $5! Also, the clothes are a bit older & true vintage. Otherwise, it’s a little cramped. I’d go again just for the price.
Very cool selections and well organized. Free parking. Very high prices and most aren't clear is the cost until you check out.
Honestly the only reason I think it deserves 2 stars is bc the cost is so affordable you pay by the weight and I found some nice pieces I like. I've never been here so I wasn’t sure how it worked and when I approached a worker with a question she was like so incredibly rude. I feel like maybe she shouldn’t be working customer service she looked miserable, was very short and irritated with me and didn't say goodbye or really respond when I said have a good day. Like I’m from the midwest and even we are nicer.plus its not the cleanest thrift I’ve been to so if that bothers you theres better in Austin.
This is a true thrift store that sells by the pound. They don’t have high quality, everything is cheap, but you’re buying it for a low cost.
Really disappointed after reading all the good reviews & finding semi cute pieces in terrible condition. Even my husband found Levi jeans he liked but quickly realized they all had stains on them. I go thrifting a lot & this place was a huge let down.
Store hires people to sit in the parking lot and puts boots on people's cars, $150 a pop. Watched them do it to an old lady going into the CVS next door to pick up her medications.
Great way to show your a local business, for local customers. Would spend $1000 elsewhere before spending $. 01 here for that alone.
This is the only real vintage store around. They have a really good selection of clothing, you might have to dig a little to find something you really like, but the pricing is amazing. Can easily put together an outfit for <$20. The cashiers are also really sweet and will help you pick something if you ask:)
