Flat Rock Park reviews
17Beautiful area for the family and pets to have fun and swim. Plenty of parking and places for picnics
It's a place to get to the water, that's about all that can be said. Poorly ran by Kerr County's Commissioners for decades. If your into night fishing forget it, the park closes to early. Daytime use is limited to what's available but somewhat functional. Not saying much but it's about the best Kerrville has to offer.
We stopped on our way back from Fredericksburg. Unplanned picnic turned out to be a very pleasant experience.
Beautiful place but unfortunately people take aggressive breeds that attack other dogs so be sure you are packing to protect you and your animals.
Flat Rock Park is a must visit. There’s not much by the way of extra structures, but is an excellent nature-space by the river. Waters are incredibly clear, picturesque and it’s a perfect place to have a romantic moment by the riverside.
A nice park located on the river. Great place to park under the trees, have a picnic, fish and or relax.
Cool peaceful place to hangout. Looks like a great place to launch a boat or go fishing. Park has a extension that goes further back with a portajohn. Good parking as well. Good place for fishing and picnic area.
Wonderful park which stretches at great length along the Guadalupe river. Good place to put in with a kayak or a float. Some picnic tables are available near the water.
Amazing park, dogs are welcome and they enjoy swimming, playing in the river, great place, clean, and kids friendly
Nice park. I was visiting family. Kerrville folks sure don't seem to realize how blessed they are with such a beautiful place, it was very littered!
I love this space by the river. Perfect place to relax and decompress from life's stress while enjoying nature and serenity.
Park is very good for walking and for dogs off leash. Wanted to go fishing in our boat, the boat ramp was awful.
Wonderful place to go. Concrete picnic tables, boat dock, jungle jim, swimming & fishing available.
Fun for all. There's fishing, barbecuing, a playground, a boat ramp, and swimming (life jackets recommended). There isn't any charge either. The park wasn't overcrowded. It's clean and really peaceful. Everyone was polite and friendly. Definitely going to be going again.
Serene,
Clean,
One of the nicest parks I've ever been too!
Kids and I cooled off in the Guadalupe!
The park is well shaded and many of the trees already have a swinging rope attached. This was a perfect place to swim and relax.
Very quite, clean and well kept.
Some local ducks that waddle from camp to camp exploring the campers they share their park with. Very nice place to spend some time with some good areas for swimming and picnicking.
