Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar reviews
20I could not believe a restaurant with such high reviews had a front of staff personnel with such an awful attitude! Mind you, I only picked up a take out order! I wish I had asked for the young lady’s name but she wears glasses and has a small colorful tattoo on her arm. She not only gave me a scathing look but she was extremely curt when she spoke to me. She had absolutely NO SOCIAL DECORUM. Terrible service!
Perspective: although the food was good (Salmon & Sea Bass), their small, ordinary house salad just didn't make sense. Given it was described as their name brand Fleming House salad, we had high expectations, especially for $12 per person. Perhaps a shortage of lettuce? Sometimes it's the small but key factor of failing to meet or preferably exceed customer expectations, that can make or break repeat business.
Only complaint.they discontinued their bar menu.
Otherwise, good, as expected.
Great service.
Absolutely enjoyed the great service and delicious food. I enjoyed seeing my 10 year old grandson how much he liked his food! He just raved about his fillet mignon steak. Said he definitely wants to go back!
My wife and I had our anniversary dinner there tonight, 5/22/21, and everything was great. We each had the 14 oz ribeye steak, Flemings potatoes, and flash fried brussels sprouts. The service was great, atmosphere is warm and inviting. Our new favorite steakhouse in the entire San Antonio & suburb area. Great job, keep it up!
Food and Service OUTSTANDING! Staff has a sense of urgency and detail. Really enjoy the frequent menu changes.
I tried the filet - overall it was definitely a good steak. The plate came out warm and kept the meat warm as well which is something that I enjoyed as well. The bread/butter was good and so were the sides. Despite that - it was a very loud environment, the steak was inconsistently cooked part of it medium rare, part medium, and part well done depending on the part of the steak. I've now tried all of the major steakhouses in San Antonio - and this one would probably be the last on my list. Overall worth going to - but certainly nothing to write home about.
Fantastic! Prompt seating even though the place was crowded on a Friday evening. Food was great, the dessert was tasty and the service by Travis and Sierra was on point.
It was my birthday and they gave me the royal treatment. But, I noticed they gave everyone exemplary service either way. The food was so wonderful and flavorful. The ambience is upscale so, dress nicely. We will definitely be back.
We love Flemings, the service is impeccable and the food is delicious! It's a beautiful atmosphere and you will find yourself with attentive servers who want to make sure you're taken care of. Not enough can be said about the food, everything we've tried was absolutely delicious!
Had the privilege of enjoying the food at this restaurant through a work function I could not afford it on my own and it's kind of pricey but the food was fabulous steak was thick & Juicy hopefully we'll have more opportunities to try
Frank at the bar was very attentive. Made sure we were comfortable and made us feel welcome. He went out of his way for us. Great server.
Great food, excellent service!
35 Ounce Tomahawk Ribeye, perfectly crusted on the outside and medium rare on the inside.
Took our son for a birthday dinner. Food was fair to good but the service was very slow. Ordered steak medium but at the suggestion of the waiter changed it to medium rare. Unfortunately, it came raw in the middle, totally cold and had to be sent back. Have been going to Flemings for many years but this was the worst experience yet. Too pricey to have those kinds of problems.
One of our absolute favorite places to eat. Steaks are always done to perfection and taste great. They take pride in cooking and serving only the best food. The ribeyes are always exceptional. The bacon appetizer is amazingly delicious. The mac-n-cheese as a side is always a must for us, although all sides we've tried have been outstanding.
Good friendly staff, good food they do need to offer gluten free bread that would be a plus but not on menu
Fleming's is definitely worth a visit for any streak fan, particularly on Mondays. They have a $50 special that includes a filet, lobster tail and dessert. I'm definitely going back for a treat yourself Monday!
First time here. Loved ALL if it. Especially our waiter, Christiaan. Pork chops were AMAZING! And the creme brulee!
Great spot! London was our bartender and he was awesome! The food was great! The drinks were great! I will definitely be going back!
Couldn't complain about the service or excellent food. My husband had the Angus ribeye and I had the miso chilean sea bass. I could have eaten all the bread and butter and been happy. But be prepared to pay a pretty penny for a prime steakhouse.
