Shaun was an amazing captain & fishing guide. If I could give him more than 5 stars I would. Our first time fly fishing for reds was a huge success. We are looking forward to our next trip out with him.

If you are looking for a great guide give Captain Shaun Daniels a call! Been out with alot guides in the past but would definitely put him at the top of the list! Would highly recommend him to anyone planning a fly fishing trip in the Rockport/Port Aransas area! Can't wait to come back & go out with him again! He put us on alot of fish!

Had a great 1/2 day with Capt. Shaun. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t ideal but Shaun still put me on some fish with numerous chances.

Recently spent the day with Clay Cottle of Fly Fish Rockport, chasing redfish on the flats. Easily one of the best guided trips I have ever taken. Clay is a perfect blend of professional yet easy going. He is excellent at reading the water, fish and angler. Clay had us in and around schools of redfish and larger singles all day and was consistently putting me in the best possible position to hook up with several quality fish. First class skiff and equipment as well. Top-notch experience…. Surpassed my expectations. Highly recommend! Ready for another trip!

Had a wonderful day on the water with Capt Shaun! Started off a little slow with a lot of cloud cover. Sun finally popped out and he found the fish! Very easy going and patient! Ended up with 9 reds and a trout. Definitely one of the best guides I have fished with! Highly recommend Capt Shaun!

Spent two days fishing with Capt. Gibson and Fly Fish Rockport, had an awesome time. Capt. Gibson clearly has a strong understanding of the fishery, worked hard to get us on fish, and took great pictures! The booking process was super easy with great communication. I can’t recommend highly enough!

These guys are top notch! Great communication with Jeff upfront and I have fished three times now with captain Clay. Can’t wait to go back. He will show you redfish way back in the skinny - cruising, tailing - crawling. He is very patient and laid back and has really helped me with my fly casting. Highly recommended!

I’ve fished with Clay multiples times and always had a lot of fun and a lot of success. He always does a great job of finding fish and giving me opportunity’s to make a good cast onto a lot of fish.

We fished with the owner Captain Jeff. Professional. To a "T". Wasn't afraid of changing the program if fish weren't behaving as predicted. Open to possible species shifts from us anglers. Top notch gear and boat. Great instructor. But still got excited when we came upon a load of fish and had to switch flies and try different things. That's what you want out of a guide. Still loves fishing and confident in their approach. 100% recommend.

Capt Jeff was great! He got us on a lot of fish and definitely knows his stuff! Since we had never been to the area before, he was kind enough to give us tons of info on what to see and places to go. Truly a guide for the entire trip. Hope to get a chance to get out with him again, we had an absolutely blast!

Wowzer! Capt. Gibson put us on the fish! Great guy, great guide! Make sure to get a look at the flies he is tying, not stuff you will find anywhere. And love that frickin’ Hell’s Bay skiff!
