Flying Horse Coffee Shop, Dallas TX

Loved that place. They even offered a 15% rebate if you stay at the Magnolia hotel. They have lots of coffees to choose from and all the same syrups as Starbuck for a fraction of the price. The service was excellent. Enjoyed my breakfast sandwich and the smoothie. Lovely place to sit also.

Great coffee! I like how small and quaint this place is. The seating is very cool and theres plenty of it. Plenty of options to choose from to fit your caffeine dream. If you don't like caffeine like my friend, they also have other sweet options and foods for you that will make your taste buds happy. Right across the main At&t Discovery area and attached to the hotel next door.

Lovely little spot! I'm staying next door at the Magnolia and this was a great way to start my day. I'm not usually a coffee drinker, but the cookies + cream frappe they're serving right now is delicious. I also had a Nutella turnover that is amazing. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who passes by!

Great coffee, prices are reasonable, I got a peach protein smoothie after a workout and it was a little too sweet, but overall the atmosphere is great and the location is so convenient for me since I live downtown.

Unsure why this place is rated well. Staff seemed inexperienced and not all that friendly. Pastry selection was substandard and the coffee is no better than Starbucks (which I personally do not like).

Wonderful find! Flying Horse offers a variety of coffee and espresso beverages, as well as smoothies - I ordered a dairy free super greens smoothie that was so refreshing! The breakfast tacos are the perfect food for any time of day. Highly recommend!

My wife, 11-yo son, and I are were in town for the VEX World Robotics Competition. We walked down Ervay to the Starbucks at the Hampton Inn & Suites, only to find that it doesn't open until 7am. So we turned down Commerce and happened upon the Flying Horse Coffee Shop. What a GREAT find!

We walked in and were pleasantly greeted by the barista behind the counter. We did not feel hurried or forgotten. Indeed, the barista answered our questions with genuine interest, as if she truly wanted to help us.

- Great selection of pastries and breakfast sandwiches.
- Great selection of breakfast drinks, including some fruity drinks like an old-style orangecicle.
- Great venue - with emphasis on wood - with high tops, regular tables (including some VERY large ones), and cozy nooks. Plenty of different kinds of spaces for conversations of every kind.

Couple great things we noted while there:
- The barista knew a lot of people by name.
- A lot of people knew the barista by name.
- They had dog treats for people who stop in walking their dogs.
- The music/noise level was appropriate for creating conversation.

We WILL definitely be back!

My daily routine while at a conference and seemed to be many locals as well. Good coffee and food, cheap prices, and super friendly staff

A beautiful little place and a beautiful big hotel that is grounded enough to have the owner serve you with an attitude and style that was not only gracious and sincere but it seemed like his first day and he was full of excitement. The coffee was terrific and so was my breakfast burrito

What a delightful welcoming place! I was helped by Sage daughter of the owner. She and the place were warm welcoming and have AWESOME oatmeal with almond milk.
This after being (along with my Service Dog Babu) being humiliated and ejected from the Statler on Commerce downtown Dallas. Babu and I had been thrown out of the Statler by Security Agent Roderick while going to the John before we could enter the Over Easy Cafe in the Statler.
We we told this morning at the Over Easy Babu and I would have to sit in the ‘special’ dog area. Really Statler? We think not.
Skip the Statler stay at the Magnolia and hit the Flying Horse Cafe. Tell em John-Rodger sent y’all.

We visited this place one time randomly during our stay in Dallas and ended up making a trip there everyday after that. The caramel coffee frap was on point. Staff is amazing and the house made Chai tea with almond is delicious

Love the staff and the atmosphere at this coffee shop. I recommend the breakfast tacos and the granny apple muffin.

I really appreciate that they support local artists by giving them prime wall space to exclusively present their creations.

Ohhhh Ehmmmm Geeee.found a closest & open coffee shop near our hotel. No disappointment. Fast & friendly cashier. Coconut latte.muah! Hubs not a 'foofoo' coffee drinker he loved his Caramel Macchiato. The flavors are not over-powering. Perfect. Oh! And banana nut muffin hit the spot

Was looking for something different other than Starbucks and 711 coffee. Walking downtown Dallas looking for somewhere else. Glad we stopped in. Friendly staff everyone attentive to your want. The coffee was great. I got a Carmel machiato added a lil raw sugar great the cranberry but muffin omg. Didn't expect what I got. Nice crunch all around soft and moist inside. Perfect blend of everything. I'll definitely be back before I leave here. Wonderful place and experience.
