FM Kitchen & Bar, Houston TX

I came for their Thursday steak night. The ribeye was fried and not grilled. It was a bit tough, not enough moisture. But the potato was so delicious, one of the best ones I have ever had. Service and staff were good. Nice patio and building.

First time here. We did a date night and watched the Texans game. Definitely recommend this place. It's a chill spot. Inside seating and outside backyard kinda feel. We ordered flautas, chicken fried chicken and black bean burger.

Not a fan, way more negatives than positives. Negatives: burgers are not very tasty (could make a better one on stove at home), no creativity, you don’t even get a side of fries with them, which leads to the food being way over priced, and service was a little slow/not informative.
Positives: Good atmosphere, wings were decent
Unfortunately, won’t be making a trip back, one and done for us.

SO delicious! Happy hour was soo worth it…I got a “secret menu” item, but it should definitely be in the frozen cocktail menu. This is a frozen eastside and it’s so refreshing and light, but definitely packs a punch. 10/10 recommend, casual atmosphere with a great drink and food menu!

My family came here for late night grub. It was horrible. My chicken sandwich bun was hard as a brick and so was my son's. My other son nachos were good and it was enough to share for 2. I ordered a drink which the server said it may not taste so good but I tried anyway. I told him he was right and that I wanted to try just thr margarita.well I never got it. When food was served we didn't get utensils

I would have given 5 stars if they would have added sound to the UofH game on Thursday night even after making request. We decided to close out and left elsewhere. Outside of that, their customer service has been pretty good lately. I’ve been here in the past and idk what’s changed but I noticed a difference for sure. Thursday was steak night; pretty good ribeye. $20 steak with potatoes.

So I went here for dinner with a group of about 8 and the service was terrible, it was kinda busy outside where we were seated so I understood but then I went inside and there was a bunch of servers standing around. The food was okay, I split the chicken friend steak with someone and the green beans were amazing but the mashed potatoes were gross and had zero flavor. Asked for salt and pepper from 3 different servers and never got any

Went there for a friends birthday since it was pet friendly. The food was great, had the fried pickles which were battered perfectly, the flautas we’re actually really good, and we had the patty melt that was delicious. The service however was absolutely horrible. Our waitress took forever to take our order, they weren’t that busy. It took over an hour to get our appetizer after we had asked about it they told us it was given to the wrong table, my drink took forever, again, after having to ask for it. Maybe they were short staffed but acknowledging your guest and letting them know goes a long way. I give it a 3 mainly for the food and fire pit that kept us warm. The waiter that closed out our tab wasn’t…‍️. That is all.

Let me start by saying I’m definitely a foodie and I eat out at a lot of different restaurants… but FM kitchen and Bar stands out to me the most for the tasty food and the ABOVE AND BEYOND customer service. #Cameron Thank You

We loved our waiter Conner. He was accurate with our orders, attentive to our needs, had a great personality and a personable approach to his service. We appreciated his energy and attitude!
The shrimp tacos were the best in Houston. Great food and fast kitchen! The bar was spot on with all our adult beverages. The outdoor and indoor seating options both were spacious and each had a nice atmosphere. Many thanks for a special afternoon with family and friends!

We have been here twice now and really like it! We love the happy hour for the Mexico city Palomas. We also love the huge appetizer that comes with wings, chips with queso, fries and fried pickles! We enjoy the outdoor seating and friendly staff.

Went to the location near Washington around 4pm on a Sunday, the outside bench area was literally empty but every table had reserved sign on it with no one there. Front hostess said there was no outdoor seating while I’m looking at all of the empty “reserved” tables. How about serving customers who are actually there. We left because that was ridiculous, lost a customer here. Won’t be going back to this location.

Alright I’m not usually a fan of bar food but FM Kitchen & Bar is actually SO GOOD. I came here for a company dinner and it was very busy but still great. The employees are really kind and hardworking! I tried the appetizer sampler, FM burger, and 2 virgin drinks. The burger had a great texture and was very tasty!

The staff was excellent. I went on Sunday for brunch and was seated quickly. My wait staff was David/Dave but had several interactions with multiple staff. All were pleasant. The drinks are good. I ordered the Copper burger and it was not good. It was literally grilled meat cooked without seasoning. So overall great place for drinks, just don't order a burger unless you like food without flavor.

The chicken sandwich is very understated and underrated. The chicken itself is properly seasoned and cooked succulently. With places that lazily slather and dip their chicken in sauce, this place understands that flavor comes from the batter. Not overdone at all. Just right!

After checking Google for restaurants that were open near me, I arrived to FM excited to try out the new restaurant it my area. Google stated that it was open until 10pm. I arrived around 9: 25 was able to walk into the restaurant but I was told I could not eat because they were closing. Next, I asked to sit to just have a drink at the bar, but I was also denied that experience. I understand that kitchens may close up at a certain time prior closing, but to be denied a drink as well at this time just left a bad taste in my mouth. Please update your hours if the restaurant closes before the time listed online.
