Was let go without any findings. I have been in the medical field for over 33 years and was treated as if I was a nobody. When an agency will not stand up for their staff and do the correct protocol to insure that the staff member is not being falsely accused. That agency is not what is best for you. Never received a phone call or anything. I am good at what I do, and I love what I do. Always take care of your staff, especially if they are 1 of the very few that enjoys taking care of others.

Hi Mr Rhoads, after being with your company for a year I have decided not to rejoin for a myriad of reasons. My recruiter, even though he wasn't ideal, he was trying, asked me to post a positive review for him initially (I did some time ago), which I have since removed. I never really understood the process for travel pay because I have always had a standard paycheck and money didn't "move around to make a number that fits'. Needless to say, the Focus Staff overpaid me, while at the same time underpaid me, and had multiple contract errors, while I was yelled at by my recruiter (because the errors occurred and they weren't aware), belittled by the manager (because I didn't understand or realize what had occurred on my pay stub) and the only person who could efficiently explain what happened was the Vice President. Sad to say, all she could do was apologize for the behavior of the staff, yet still 2/3 of my paycheck was held without notice and then the balance garnished from my pay every week in my extended assignment. It was a financial nightmare and no one cared. I had to take as much call as possible so that I could pay rent and eat. These errors snowballed from the recruiter making errors in the contract (s), the manager being rude and unprofessional instead of being supportive, and the payroll department not being consistent and making unintelligible errors in wages. I had never felt so helpless and humiliated in my life. Moving forward, I hope you protect the people who depend on your employees to help them and not hurt them like that in the future.

I chose Focus Staff for my first travel rotation and have not been disappointed. My recruiter, John, has been a great advocate while being informative, kind, and on top of communication. He has gone above and beyond to make sure that I got the placement that I desired and made himself available for any questions that arise. I would definitely recommend working with John and Focus Staffing for any healthcare placements!

I've been with Focus Staff just shy of one year now. My first (and second) contract were in the Seattle area and my third (and fourth) contact in Nebraska. Words cannot express how thankful I am for my recruiter, Jordi Trinidad. When I first started traveling, I was absolutely terrified. Jordi was there every step of the way, calling or texting me to make sure I was doing ok. When I had issues, Jordi was my cheerleader - listening and encouraging me. When it was time to renew my current contract, Jordi fought for what I thought I was worth in order to renew.and he/we succeeded. I could not do what I do without knowing Jordi has my back and I feel 100% that he goes above and beyond his duties as my recruiter.
