Forney Eye Associates

We found everyone to be very professional, friendly and efficient. My husband and I had back to back appointments so we were seen together for the tests and exams. We also both found the perfect frames. Also, when Dr. Nguyen learned a baseball had recently hit my eye at our Grandson’s little League game, he was very solicitous and made sure there was no damage to my eye.

Forney Eye Associates were very professional. I needed a new pair of glasses and it was easy to schedule an appointment. They did a through examination. They showed pictures of things I should be aware of in the future and fully explained. Also they have a great affordable selections of eyewear!

Dr Tran is great I had no problems with him, he is patient and attentive to your needs.my son however saw a different doctor, and he was not patient with him, and stressed him out and my son had a panic attack. Then he was trying to pick out Glasses and was having a hard time, the young man helping him was very kind and polite and patient. Which helped him relax somewhat, all this was causing my anxiety, so I couldn't focus on looking at glasses, which was a blessing I would not suggest getting glasses here they charged us over $300 for 1 pair of glasses for my son, I went to Costco and was able to pick out 3 pairs of glasses for under $100.00, you don't have to be a member to get glasses from Costco Vision center, but they do have some extra discounts for members, so I purchased the membership, I find shopping there actually saves me time and money.
I'm not saying this isn't a good place to get your eye exam, I'm just saying that their eye glasses are overpriced.

I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. My exam was also very thorough. All the glasses are name brand, so they are a little bit pricy. I love the glasses that I bought.

I had a really bad eye infection and the care team at Forney eye associates went above and beyond to care for me. The coordinated care with my PCP which was amazing and also followed up to ensure i was healing properly. This is one of the best patient experiences i have had so i want to say thanks to the care team!

We wanted to leave a note of Thanks to Jennifer for having such patience with our 11 year old son yesterday. He has been wanting contacts for some time now and she was so patient working with him for over an hour to get them in.and then back out: (While he left feeling defeated last night, I am happy to report it took him only 15 minutes today to get both contacts in and he is running around the house and telling all his buddies what a game changer this is going to be on the ball field. Thank you again so much for your patience:) We will see you soon!

Dr. Tran is professional, polite and does complete exam. The front folks are fine, got my glasses misaligned for the progressive lenses, sent back and fixed issue.

I like the Dr's alright. They seem to know what they're doing and very kind. No problem there. I mean mistakes happen I get it, but this has turned into a trend. They didn't call me when my order came in and they were the wrong kind of contacts at that. They've lost my prescription that is supposed to be on file. When ever i go, or call they never seem to know what's really going on or where anything is; they misplaced my order and it took them over 30 minutes to track it down. They say they will call me back, no call call back ever. Who ever runs the administration side of things is just not really doing a very good job unfortunately.

My wife and I have been goin to FEA for years. They are always friendly and fast. If you are near Forney and need a great eye doctor this is the place.

Love this place the people here are really nice and kid friendly! The glasses aren't on the cheap end BUT THEY ARE SOO WORTH IT. VERY MUCH SONHIGH QUALITY. They were very good at explaining the price break down of what the insurance pays and the optional charges. They also offer a half down half on pick up which I thought was great! They kid glasses also fit my 12 and 1 year old typically kid glasses at places like vision works aren't available for my older kids

The people are nice, but they got my glasses prescription wrong two years in a row. Last year, I tried to buy glasses at Target with the script they provided, and it was wrong. The same thing happened again this year. I went back to see about getting another exam to double check my script, and they blamed the issue on the lenses being wrong. I had doubts, so I went elsewhere and paid out of pocket to get a second opinion, where I received a different prescription for both eyes.

I highly recommend Dr. Nguyen and Dr. Tran! They are very professional, thorough and kind.

My last review didn't post, unfortunately. I went to get glasses and contacts a feew months back. I believe I saw Dr. Nguyen, who educated me, fit me into more convenient contacts, and even told me not to bother with glasses as my prescription in both eyes is very high, which would need EXTREMELY thick lenses.

I was very impressed and satisfied with all the staff here.

I have been using Forney Eye Associates for 2 years now. I love them. From the time you walk in the door until you leave, every employee is wonderful. The only eye doctor I have ever been to that doesn't pressure you to buy glasses and contacts from them.

Dr. Tran at Forney Eye Associates is very professional and knowledgeable. He was quickly able to adjust my prescription to significantly improve my vision. The office staff is also very kind and professional. They even fit me in immediately when I injured my eye. Love this place!
