Forney Family Dentistry & Orthodontics

Very disappointing experience. I left FFD over a year ago for something closer to home and I realized the error of my ways. The dentist I saw in kaufman doesn’t take insurance and is strictly out of network. I explained all that to FFD and after I explained all of that they let me go thru X-rays, exam etc.to only find out they too are out of network now and wanted 17k for crowns and root canals. I do love Dr. Morrison but they tried to sell me some snake oil products which I did not appreciate.

Friendly, caring staff. Never had a bad experience with them and been going to them for more than 10 years.

So professional, and welcoming. Doctor is so helpful, she and makes you feel comfortable! The Best Office ever!

Our whole family comes here and absolutely love the staff and Dr. Morrison. My son is 9 and just started braces and they have been great with him. My husband has to get the deep cleanings, some implants and other work done and have been great to work with on insurance and payment solutions.

Disclaimer: This review is mostly about the Orthodontics side of this office which seems to operate somewhat separately from the regular dental services.

I had an absolutely terrible experience at Forney Family Dentistry. The orthodontist is hardly available during posted business hours, which made scheduling appointments a nightmare. Once you do get in they do quick and careless work causing issues down the road that they will not be available to assist with leaving you or your child in pain / discomfort for days or weeks at time. Which I think is unacceptable given the price of braces.

Every appointment they seem more interested in getting me out of the office as quickly as possible than actually providing quality dental care. I leave every time feeling frustrated and disappointed, and I would not recommend this dental office to anyone.

Save yourself the trouble and find a different dentist / orthodontist.

One of the worst experiences I have had with a dental provider. The amount of services the Dr determined I needed was shockingly high, and was enough for me to seek a second opinion. Upon seeking my second opinion the services I was supposed to receive was not even half as high as Forney Family Dentistry has stated. So either their treatment methodology is hyper aggressive, or they are out for your money, and only you can make that determination. Another disappointment was when I sought out another opinion, and they refused to answer my calls in order to transfer my records. This just solidified to me that patient care was not the #1 priority, and that it was in fact money.

I love this place so much. The team is so helpful and kind. I was really nervous, and have dental anxiety but Dr Morrison explained everything, and I never felt any shots. It was an amazing experience. I will never go anywhere else but here! Thank you Forney Family Dentistry for being patient with me from start to finish, you have a patient for life.

Amazing dental office, caring and very professional, friendly and Dr Morrison explained all of the work being done. If you need any work done she is the one to go to. Makes it feel comfortable having stuff done.

The Elite Dental Assisting school is a great school, I have learned so much from all the great staff. They are a very caring, friendly and supportive office and Dr. Morrison is very transparent and super sweet. I would definitely recommend this school and dental office to everyone!

This place is so amazing. The staff is very nice and welcoming. When coming in to do my fillings everyone made me feel at home and comfortable. Dr. Morrison did such a great job!

Worse dental office in the world! They wanted to charge me $320 just for the office visit, not telling you upfront how much the fee would be! Which any other office tells you! I have a chipped tooth I just wanted it fill because I’m doing veneers in October! She basically said her way or no way! Wanted me to put ONE fake tooth in the front! Make it make sense! Still paid $120 for nothing! I should have known it was gonna be a scam when her assistant had botex & lip fillers don’t go here unless you want them to take your cash money! I found another dental place! Who said the exact thing but told me they’ll do the filling too! This office is beyond horrible, don’t tell me what you’re not going to do! Which I know they can! From an adult that still harbors childhood dental PTSD, this practice continues to go above and beyond with my comfort and care. From the warm greetings at checkin, even explaining the the care plan and cost but most importantly the extensive care while sitting in the procedure room, each of the ladies are so warm, reassuring, knowledgeable and very kind. I appreciate each of staff at Forney Family Dentistry. As a patient, I feel more like a family friend which makes each visit easier to endure. You can truly free the blessings throughout the office and upon each staff member. I’m so glad God sent me to this office!

Outstanding first experience, first impression. We already love it here! My 5 year daughter felt so comfortable! Therefore I did too!
