Fort Grard Guns and Archery reviews
22This range is great! I'm completely new to archery and the staff was not intimidating at all. This is kind of a big deal to me because specialty places tend to be uptight. Ben is great! He taught my nephew how to put the tips on arrows. Good guy
My wife and I spent our first time shooting indoors here and we had a blast. We stayed almost the entire day, left for lunch and was able to return and shoot some more. The staff was awesome and eager to help with shooting/equipment setup. The indoor range was perfect for a cold day. We’ll be returning again soon. Thank you again Fort Grard for all you help.

Friendly knowledgeable staff. Great selection of equipment, as well as expert advice and coaching.
Great place to practice shooting have repairs tuneups or to buy anything archery or firearms related
Outside range including 3D targets
Great facility, super friendly folks! Hands on service, I’ve was invited to have a seat behind the counter and adjust my crossbow scope with proper levels and take a few shots afterwards! Enjoyed it!
Went in tonight and spoke with the shop owner, Randy. This man is the epitome of a person who has perfected his craft. I brought in a bow that I got from a friend, and within minutes told me what needed to be swapped out/adjusted. As soon as he finished tuning it I went to their indoor range and “robin hooded” my first arrow with my second shot. Staff is a joy to deal with, and will be where I buy my next bow from hands down.
Great family friendly place. We have used them since they opened and would not have anyone else work on our bows. We have bought three bows from them. They have helped us in so many ways beyond bows! Highly recommend!
If you are new to archery, this is the place to go. Randy and his staff (which consists of his family) are friendly, knowledgeable and go the extra mile to make your experience special. Indoor and outdoor range to sharpen your shot along with a wide variety of supplies and equipment.
It is apparent that Randy has a true passion for his customers and the sport of archery.
This archery shop is above all others. Second to none customer service. I have been to many shops in different states and this shop is hands down the best. Every bow I've brought in has been tuned to perfection.
Great place with some of the nicest most informative people in the archery game. Keep up the good work.
Our family loves Fort Grard! It is where we go to fix our bows and get them ready for bow hunting! The range is a fun place for Dad and sons to go shoot!
Fort Grard has become our home away from home. The staff is helpful, knowledgeable and never fail to go above and beyond to help with any of our needs. We always feel welcome, even with a 5yr old and 1yr old tagging along for some of their big sisters practices. The facility is clean, any archery items you need are likely on hand and they have snacks/drinks when you stay longer than planned.
As an outdoor writer and avid archer/bowhunter, finding a one-stop-shop, so to speak, and people I trust with my equipment can be challenging; yet, I've found that place in Fort Grard.and that tech in Randy. As a former archery tech myself I am pretty particular when it comes to people working on my bow. Randy is one of precious few I've trusted over the years. Not only do I trust Randy, I continue to learn from him-different tools and ways to do things-simpler than my approaches when I worked on bows. His complex is jaw-dropping. While the indoor range is phenomenal, including a wall of targets, broadhead target, swinging ball-target levitating ping pong balls, the outdoor range is the best I've ever seen, including a 5-acre 3D shooting course and acres upon acres of other challenging 3D targets and target boards, from 10 yards to a couple hundred-it's literally an archery playground! Some targets are even moving while others require "threading the needle" through steel plates. Fort Grard also has a roomy elevated platform, complete with benches where you can hang out and shoot all afternoon. Back inside, there is also loft with an immersive video-shooting target system! Everything is fairly priced and I've seen Randy bend over BACKWARDS to help people with bows and accessories to get into archery. He's passionate about the next generation and with educating people about archery, and their equipment, so he walks them through everything and explains everything, including things that may be right or wrong with a customer's equipment-he does this because he cares. I've spent A LOT of time at Fort Grard and have seen bucket loads of compassion and help come from Randy, including helping people who have been taken for a ride by Ebay-bow sellers. Honestly, Randy's shop may be really, really good but it's his character, honor and integrity that make that place great. His kindness and passion for archery are always evident, making it a bit of an archery shot "Cheers"-where everybody knows your name. Heck, there are even chairs, stools and a long "bar" where you can sit, visit, eat lunch, etc. Incidentally the interior of the shop is also beautiful. Randy does his own woodwork and it's quite amazing-he's poured his heart and soul into every aspect of his Fort Grard complex. In a nutshell, there isn't anything I don't like about Fort Grard. If you walk in with a positive attitude, ready to have fun and meet great people.even learn a thing or two, you'll agree!
This is a family that believes in our future”Our Children” and do everything they can to promote Archery an support for our younger generation, but I have seen them bend over backwards for all there customers, they truly understand that treating their customers like family keeps them coming back!
One of the best bow shops around! The staff is amazing, helpful and super friendly! Very chill and relaxing! I say enough about how helpful they were in setting up my brother's new bow! Will definitely be going back soon!

Brittany was very knowledgeable. And the facility looked to be well-stocked with all your archery needs.
I have only been here a couple of times. Once for a birthday party and today for defend the fort event.
Very friendly, professional and knowledgeable staff. I would recommend this place for any bow needs you have or for practice or fun. The boys today are having a blast.
Great group of people, knowledgeable each and every one of them, it feels like home when you walk in. Great range real nice setup. I will drive out there from now on. The only real bow shop in North Texas. They did me right when another bow shop did me wrong. Thanks guys for fixing my new bow for me world of difference. Customer for life.
Amazing! Just getting into archery and I am very happy to have chosen Fort Grard Archery. Owner was very informative and willing to take the time out of his day to introduce me into the sport. Very military friendly and helpful. Not only did my bow get set up, I was able to learn a lot as well. Could not recommend highly enough!
