We've been very happy with Fort Worth Grass and Stone. The quality of the sod, topsoil and stone are excellent and the office and yard staff are exceptional. This is our third lawn renovation over the last five years, and we did our homework up front before ordering our sod and purchasing the topsoil. Jenni in the front office has always been pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. And Ronny in the yard has given great service and some pretty darn good advice over the years. Here is my advice: Get the information up front. The website is pretty thorough as far as pricing and fees. Do your prep first. The final product is dependent on how much effort you give the yard beforehand. And lastly, the sod you roll out is not going to look like an established Southlake lawn. Be prepared for a little disappointment like brown patches or rough seams. Frequent watering and an application of 15-15-15 after the first full week will yield striking results. We were not able to install our sod until mid November of last year and the payoff was the lawn that appeared in April of this year. This past week we prepped and sodded both side yards, including our next door neighbors. Same great service and product. We would recommend Fort Worth Grass and Stone to our neighbors and friends.

They quoted me $90 a yard for DG then charged me $125 plus another $150 for delivering it 1/2 a mile away from their yard. Then charged me tax after I told them it was tax exempt THEN another 3% for using a debit card. Gave me an invoice that said $771 then charged my card $883. Worked all day in 105 degree heat and made $90 profit on the job because of their shady business practices. Don’t buy from these people!

Rude old man at the front desk. Avoid dealing with him if you can. Tattoo on his left forearm. There was a nice lady helping me and answering my questions. Old man jumped into the conversation uninvited and starts cutting me off. I asked him to stop interrupting and he got more belligerent. I’ll just take my business elsewhere.

I would highly recommend this company. Their customer service was superb. Jenny was an absolute goddess.

Everyone there from the lot to the office to the owner we’re amazing and super helpful. I will be returning in the future.

These guys & gals are great. Anytime I callled with questions about my order (I called a few times lol) they were super polite. The sod was A+ as well. I drove 30 minutes out of my way to use them, and I will do it again in the future.

Horrible customer service, don’t bother calling no one ever answers the phone. Called 5 times today and spent about an hour on hold until I finally gave up.

They answering service stayed open on Saturday until 3p. Drove over to the store to find it closed. Don’t wast your time with this fly by night outfit

Extremely disappointed and frustrated. I do not leave reviews like this but I am heated at our situation. We ordered $1k worth of sod and we were told the order would be in on a specific day (Saturday, April 6), so we drove over an hour with a trailer we had to pickup, to get the grass. Upon arrival, we were told they hadn’t received the grass to their site. I understand things happen, but if this is something that happens often, it should be a policy of theirs to tell customers to contact them before picking up to ensure their order has arrived. What really ticked me off was the response from the owner, Jeff. Not only when he called me did he NOT apologize for the inconvenience, he spoke in such a derogatory manner to me, giving absolutely no regard to the situation and frustration on my end. It’s not what happens, it’s how businesses handle it and I was disappointed in his disrespectful attitude. We will be getting a full refund and taking our money elsewhere.

I bougt 22 rolls of supposed to be Bermuda but it looks nothing like my Bermuda. Had to take it to dump because they will nor get real Bermuda. Be careful and look at grass because this stuff looks like torpedoe grass very invasive. My grass on left the bad grass on right much bigger blades

We ordered Bermuda grass! Tim was great help answering my questions and what we needed to do etc, grass was delivered on time!

We purchased 3 pallets grass from them in 2022, the grass didn't grow. We gave them a 2nd chance, prepaid for grass, supposed to be here in 2 days. We went to pick it up and the truck didn't show. We asked for a refund. Later, we called back to see if the pallet would still be there on Monday, we were told no. Since we got a refund, we would have to reorder. If it was on the truck, why won't it still be there Monday? Nothing but excuses. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

We got a quote over the phone for some grass and delivery along with firewood. I’ve sent them any referrals, a family friends, especially for the firewood and we’ve never had any problems whatsoever deliveries on point friendly customer service, and very knowledgeable staff.
