Fort Worth Stockyards reviews
36Great place to visit in fort Worth. Experience what it was like in the late 1800s when cowboys were tougher than nails.
Typical tourist attraction, but worth the visit. It was cool to see the longhorns walking down the street in their twice daily csttel drive (as long as there is no lightning.) Some neat shops, particularly the record store.
Definitely a unique experience! Feels like the wild west. Lots of shops and restaurants. They have a cattle drive that comes through everyday at 11: 30 and 4. There are also a few longhorns around the area that you can sit on and take pics for $5.
Nice enjoyable historical area Ate at Risckys steakhouse It was delicious Cool but quick longhorn cattle parade Nice shops
Nice place to visit with family and kids. You can see typical Texas Long Horn bulls. Surroundings can take in old Texas days.
There is plenty to do here! This has to be a must stop if you are touring the area! Good food, good music, and best of all good people! Take a spin on the mechanical bull or enjoy the scenery and people watching. Of course you have to eat, eat, eat! The steak is.well.duh awesome! The shops are amazing. The people are just full of life! Perfect place to bring the kiddos and well the rest of the family!
I love going to the Fort Worth Stockyards. They have great steak houses, it is like stepping back in time. It is a great place to go take photos, because of all the Western buildings.
Greag area to visit and to enjoy a steak. Great pubs to drop into. Get there for the free bull run. Good free gunfight theatre. Recommend to visit it. Good for all ages
We caught the bus there from Fort Worth.
A very small herd, don't expect a lot of cattle but these cows are very pretty. The whole thing looks a bit fake but it is cute and good for family. It is worth a quick stop or a quick trip if your are in Dallas.
Great time. Cattle drive is quick but lots of other things to see including Billy Bob's and a number of nice stores in town. Drivers were great with crowd and kids. Awesome photo ops.
Did not like this place. Got a $50 parking ticket. Obviously someone men's the lot together ticket that quick. Someone could have said did you realize you was parked in a place you had to pay for. Rather than to be so quick to throw a $50 parking ticket on my door
Amazing place. We flew from Florida just to see the longhorns and were not let down. The cowboy showing the longhorn was great. The stockyard was packed with shops and and great restaurants. A must see if coming to Texas.
I loved it. It was my first time visiting that place, I didn't know Forth worth has two downtown, apparently stockyards is the actual the old downtown but all the traditions and all the cultures makes you feel special. The Restaurant was really good on the menu says "all you can eat beef ribs" whenever you visit Forth worth Stockyards stop by the restaurants you're not going to regret it.
A must do and see if near Dallas/fort Worth area! Free to go, parking is $7, and you can take a guided tour for $7 per person. PHENOMENAL experience for the drive that built Texas!
We love this place. It’s well worth the visit and spend the day or two. Lots of goodies and food and sights and sounds. We had such a good time that we will return every time we visit Texas.
All our out of town visitors enjoy coming here as do our children and grandchildren. Good food. Fun stores. Western culture. Cattle drive. A nice outing!
Love this place. Good restaurants and pubs. Nice place to be. Good place for small rides for children.
My 5 year old grandson enjoyed the whole experience, and we found a book in one of the little stores that help him remember his visit and the cattle drive.
Great history. What we could visit was great. Not great for handicap people. About two thirds of the area is not accessable to people in wheel chairs or scooters. Was very disappointed
