Fort Worth Zoo reviews
13 Amazing experience!
This zoo has many birds and reptiles
Def worth the money.
Right now they are remodeling. 2023 Everything should be done.
My family loves this zoo! The tiger exhibit was under construction, was a little sad about that but over all had a great time!
We spent a good 3 hours here to see all the animals and exhibits. We didn't get to see the big cats like tigers or lion because their exhibit was closed down from construction. It looks like they will be finished in December 2022. So much has changed since we were here as kids. It was a great time!
It is a fun place to take the kids. We would get a zoo pass and go sometimes for the day to the Fort Worth Zoo! There is lots to see, lots of walking, and there is some nice places to just sit and relax. It is also fun to ride the train! Always love seeing the animals!
This is supposedly the best zoo in Texas. We were inside the MOLA exhibit and this woman decided to just start changing one of her 6 kid’s dirty diapers in front of everyone while her family sat around in their electric scooters blocking the majority of the 12” wide hall. I went to look for a zoo attendant and couldn’t find a soul. I left the exhibit and ran into someone on their break who told me that this is sadly a very common occurrence and that they are going to put signs up asking parents to use the restrooms to change dirty diapers. Based on this experience it’s not worth coming here on half-off Wednesdays, and definitely not worth it when it’s full price.
Ysabella and Zackarie were so sweet to my son while we played in the kids barn. It was beyond your everyday “we get paid to be nice” type help. They actually were above and beyond friendly, kind, funny, laughed, played with him, and kept him safe. They made sure the kids barn was a place for fun for my son and he will never forget the friends he made with those two wonderful sweet individuals. Please Fort Worth Zoo, recognize the two I have mentioned in this review for exemplary guest experience and providing top notch customer service. I cannot express enough how much these two deserve praise, recognition; and incentive or raises. They made the zoo a place where my son felt happy and they did not have to be so wonderful but they did it out of spirit
It's been a few years since we've gone to the zoo. Oh my goodness, the renovations are amazing! Everywhere we went was shaded and the animals had a large water feature for them to play in.
These changes made our zoo trip enjoyable even on a triple digit day in the Texas heat.
Well done and thank you for a great experience today.
5 Star experience every time! We went in July and we arrived when the zoo opened at 9 am. It was lovely there is a lot of shade animals were outside, kids fed the giraffes and we left at noon, great time for all:)
The zoo was clean and wasn't over crowded, when we were there most of the bird species were away do to illness prevention as claimed. I thought the zoo was on the smaller size as far as zoos go, but did have an exceptional amount of wildlife. The giraffes being so close was a nice attraction and also they had elephants very close with interactive exhibits. The zoo was all in all quality and I saw was growing
It's been years since we've been here, but our overall experience was mediocre at best. For the prices being charged I cannot see coming back.
Friendly staff! Cool exhibits with a variety of animals. Plenty of places to get food/ drink/ stop to rest. Plenty of interactive spots for kids. Currently there's some construction going on. Some of the exhibits seem small for the animals.
We had a great time it’s beautiful and friendly. I think summer is not the right time to visit the Zoo it would be better when the weather is not too hot?
Saturday morning visiting the beautiful Fort Worth Zoo with family. He was really but the zoo had areas to cool off cool mist over most of your stops in the zoo bathroom with AC, snacks bars all over the zoo.you can also bring your own cooler great view of all the animals too
