Foster's Home For Children, Stephenville TX

Terrific foster care home with a Christian influence. Kids get to live in a family situation, and siblings are usually housed together.

I was a 13 year old child that came from an abusive home. My younger brother and myself were placed at the foster home. I am now 54 and at times reflect back on my past and the people who made the biggest impact in my life. Had it not been for the foster home, I’m not sure what would have happened to myself and my brother. This place definitely changed my life during the two years I was there. The house parents were living and kind but firm, which is what I needed. I would love to mention the names of two sets of foster parents that made the biggest impact on me and also certain staff members. But, out of privacy I will not. Just know that this place is a great place for children in need. I know a lot of people have heard horror stories about foster homes but I can tell you that during my time here it was nothing but love, caring and people completely giving their all for us kids. Thank you do much for changing my life and giving me a chance to be a part of something so big! I would definitely recommend this place.

I live this place and the staff. We sponsored some of the kids and it had been a pleasure. I highly recommend others do the same. These kids are so sweet! The house parents are amazing and such godsends! They do such a great job with the kids and it takes special people to do what they do. This place is wonderful!

What a blessing it was to serve here this summer. I highly recommend volunteering here.
