Frankie's Casa reviews
15Service was great and the Mexican food was good. However, I made the mistake of ordering catfish at this Mexican restaurant which was a serious mistake and a disappointment. Stick with Mexican food at Frankie's and you should be happy.
Steak fajitas are you favorite here! Always tender and yummy. Their salsa is wonderful.
This location is a bit crowded and parking was a little difficult on busy Friday night.
The chicken fried rice was very tasty. Tried tacos and enchiladas which were just okay for me.
Great tortilla soup and the best $12 fajitas and beans I've ever had. Will be going back for our 34th anniversary!
Currently my favorite Mexican restaurant in Wylie Texas as it check marks everything you look in an authentic dish. We shared delicious fajitas, margarita, and got complimentary chips + dips. The service is impeccable, food came out hot and quick, and overall priced well. Inside is very homey and private so do like that as well. Highly recommended and must try!
It was my first time at rhe downtown Wylie location. Very busy and noisy. Server was ok. Food was good.
If you are on a dairy free diet, do not go there. I had a hard time finding something without cheese.
It's an old house converted to a restaurant, so judge the atmosphere accordingly. All of Frankie's eateries have awesome Mexican food. The servers are friendly and attentive. Margaritas taste great but could use a little more umph. I eat there weekly and haven't had a bad experience yet.
Loved the service that we got the atmosphere was nice love the.old house atmosphere. I can say my own opinion did not like my plate at all didn't like the looks of my of my husband's plate as well we ate what we could the salsa was very good, loved my coke as well as my margarita. Can say I will be back to give it another try but it will be for brunch or breakfast. And I will give another 20 dollar tip as long as I get the same service I got tonight.
Angelica / Angie was absolutely wonderful! Food was amazing! We sat on the patio since the weather was absolutely gorgeous
The service was beyond wonderful. The food was great, and servings plentiful. My girlfriends and I decided to make this a half way point to meet up for lunch and we'll definitely continue to do so.
Food was not good at all. Salsa was the only thing that had flavor everything else was bland. When you order a burrito at a mexican place it NEVER EVER should come with french fries. Wont be going back. Sorry folks.
We love their food and eat here about once a month. Unfortunately our last experience wasn't all that great. When they asked if we wanted a table or the patio we told them the patio. The greeter and waiter both looked at each other as if they very annoyed that we asked for the patio. They both sighed and gave each other the look making my wife and feel very uncomfortable. We don't know why since we both have close friends in the service industry and always treat them with nothing but respect. The following day we realized we had lost our debit card at the restaurant and called to see if they had it. We had to call them three times since they kept hanging up on us. We love their food. But I don't think we'll be going back after the way we were treated.
We tried the other location but like this one better. The staff is good and the food and drinks here are great.
Lasagna, pasta and fried rice at a Mexican place? We were skeptical but it was good. If you can’t decide between Mexican and Italian then this place is perfect for you. Something for everyone and the food has a kick to it. If you don’t like spicy, let them know. We also ordered the shrimp Diablo (which wasn’t spicy). I would think this one would bring the heat but the kids at our table ate it. It was good but just not spicy. We also ordered some basic breakfast stuff - eggs, pancakes, etc.
Drinks were good also. We had Micheladas, Mexican Candy Shots, and Mexican Martini.
