Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, New Braunfels TX

The buger & chicken strips were good. I loved the fries because they are thin & crispy! The frozen custard was good too.

I love Freddy's custard! So good! Only issue is if you order a topping like candy, depending on who makes it, you could get the right amount of candy, or barely any. There is no consistency. Sometimes you get one that is basically only custard, which is disappointing. The manager is super nice and when he's there they usually come out great!

Burger tasted burnt, and fries where stale. Staff were nice though. Sadly, I left with my stomach feeling worse than when I arrived. It's been a while since I've eaten here and it will be an even longer while before I forget and decide to go back. I hope others had a better experience. The restaurant was mostly empty so I don't see any reason the food could not have been done better and had fresh fries. Definitely was not worth what we paid.

Kind of like Culver's, but lower quality Custard. The french fries are decent, but the reason you'll like them is because they are sprinkled with seasoned salt

Good burgers. Great service. The only complaint is the fountain drink diet Dr pepper leaks all over my hand when dispensing my drink. I told them about it, and it still leaks all over my sleeve and hand. Still a good place to eat. Please fix the dispenser.

Always tasty, Freddy's offers awesome burgers and ice cream, not to mention quite tasty shakes if you're in the market for them. The only downsides to nearly every Freddy's is that more often than not tables are dirty, though a quick wipe with a napkin fixes that problem, and that something is low or out, like ketchup or their fry sauce. If you can overcome those tiny hurdles then you more than likely won't be disappointed.

Love these burgers and fries. The fry sauce is awesome. Don't forget the frozen custard for dessert.

Well try it, that will be enough of an explanation. Good food, freindly staff. The staff reflects managements commitment to employee people of all back grounds and disabilities. I mean a lot of people say it, but how often do you see it.
The Freddy Burger, if you have never been, want something different next time, try a hot dog, the Chicago dog rocks.

We had a steak burger, a bowl of chili and a hot fudge sundae.
The burger was tasty, the chili hot (temp.) and the sundae above average. I should have asked for chopped onions on the chili. That, with the extra cheese may have given Wendy's a run for their money. Or at least their chili.
I would say their prices are a little on the high side for similar restaurants.

Not a big fast food person but in a pinch, the quality of the burgers are the best. Top sirloin patties

Great sauce! Fries are julienned and a not thinner than I like, veggie burger was dry but I'm grateful it's even on the menu in the part of the country.

Over the yrs, this has always been one of the better Freddy's to go to when we travel through this area, food & service have always been excellent.

We scooted through the drive thru and received hot delicious food that was roadtrip worthy.

Wait time is a little long, but the food is good. This is my go to place for a quick veggie burger.

The food tasted amazing! A day after enjoying the burger and cheese fry combo, I fell very sick. To the point of dehydration. I assumed it was a coincidence. It wasn't until another visit to this exact location that I ordered the same combo and within hours fell extremely ill again. I am convinced this is no coincidence! My husband loves their food but I refuse to visit this place again.

This place was so amazing! They do not have one here in south Louisiana and good grief I sure wish they did! This was the best hot dog I've ever had and the steak burger was pretty Amazing on its own. Next time I'm in Texas I'm definitely stopping at a Freddy's.

The food was good as always but there ice cream is not the same. It was very gritty and not smooth at all we were very disappointed.

Best food ev service is always kinda slow and have had issues asking for something multiple times and never recieving it. But the food is great only downside is its probably going to make me fat

We just go here for the frozen custard and fries. The frozen custard is just amazing. We have the Hawaiian delight and the turtle ones

Friendly staff steak burger are decent size but sometimes the cook's can over cook the burgers.
