Gym Freedom Fitness reviews
18The gym is great the roads around the gym are dilapidated and holes are everywhere. Trash is also a problem underneath the parking garage but it's not their fault. They keep their facilities pretty clean.
Tell me why I just paid almost 100 dollars because of their yearly fee! This is ridiculous and of course I paid it! Never going back
It was horrible, as soon as I walked in I was greeted by an employee who looked as though they had better things to do. Then when I asked about a membership she seemed even more annoyed. I asked if I was bothering her she said she was tired and she's be mad for the last week, and then continued the rude behavior. She didn't make it easy to want to spend 60 bucks for more rudeness. I did not get a membership then.
I love this gym. Matter fact I moved to San Antonio for a bit and they had garbage gyms compared to this gym. So I moved back and signed up again for this gym again. Glad to be going here again. This gym rocks.
It’s clean and things work. Only 1 squat rack. Biggest complaint is that the group exercise music is waaaay too loud. The whole gym doesn’t need to hear the music. It’s a bit ridiculous that I need to turn my in-ear headphones all the way up to only almost drown out that music.
Loved the facilities, everything imaginable for weight training, cardio, CrossFit, and more under one roof. Staff went out of their way to accommodate a short term membership for us. ****
Just left the gym and 11 people were not wearing masks, including the employee at the counter. I've reported the problem 3 times and no changes.
Well my fitness journey started here and it will probably remain that way but one thing I would love to add is how clean the facility is especially in a time where people are very conscious about safety and sanitation regulations, Freedom is top notch in that department!
It doesn't seem like a bad place to me.it looks clean and that's important to me. But what I don't like about this place.is.that there is too little space and everything is super tight. I usually go at night and there is so little lighting in the place that it seemed like a dive instead of a gym. I visit the freedom fitness in the Alameda and the lighting there is spectacular.but especially here I saw it gloomy and not very spacious on the ground floor.yesterday I visited the place and I did not feel comfortable and returned to the Alameda.need more lighting
I've only ever worked out in the women's exercise room. The facility is clean and inviting. There is a variety of equipment that's up-to-date and in great condition. I am super happy to be a member! Highly recommended!
Child care for 2 hours which is well enough time family plan covers 5 people 54 bucks a month access to everything 4children per person it's a great deal
Very bad website, the classes are not updated. Poor covid control, many people not wearing the masks and personnel doesn't care. The only reason I was member was yoga with Vanessa. But they canceled weekends classes so no point whatsoever
With this virus you might want to bring your own paper towels along with sanitizer. There was absolutely none at the stations. I asked the girl up front and she said sorry there is nothing she can do about it.very scary.
Been charging me for over 12 months since they took over my cancelled membership at a different gym. Never sent an email or have a call. Finally found out and they have record of me never going to the gym for a year. Won’t refund me or cancel my membership. Terrible communication and not professional. If you had a membership at flex fit check your account to to see if they’re scamming you too.
This location is a bit of a drive from where we live but it is worth it. Better equipment and they offer child care services which is a huge bonus for me. Staff is always friendly and professional.
Gym is fine, but they have some questionable management in charge. Especially during this covid situation. First they required gloves be worn to use the gym but not masks, that makes 0 sense. Whether you touch an infected surface using gloves or your hand doesnt matter your spread it to other surfaces after. But masks have been proven to protect against the spread of covid.
Now they are saying mask are required but also workout clothes. I come from work sometimes so dont always have shorts on me, I'm not sure what the reason there is.maybe gym clothes is less susceptible to the virus lol.
I pay to use the gym, not to listen to ppl who have no idea what they are doing.
A playlist of the “Top 100 worst songs to listen to while working out, ” and water fountains have a lower flow rate then my 102year old grandfathers bladder. Other than that I enjoy it.
