This is an interesting park. We went fishing here and caught some small black drum and perch. It’s not especially well maintained, and unfortunately there is a homeless population living/staying under the pavilion area and using the restrooms… resulting in dirty facilities.
A wonderful place to visit during a Brutal Texas Summer.
Was here during 2022 Thanksgiving Feast and I enjoyed the food and the Company there. In my opinion as nice as Memorial Park in Houston.
This is a well-kept park with plenty of options to keep a little man busy. Also the running path is a really cool place to just hang out.
Stellar park next to river/lake. Nice sunset views. Very open space. You can fish here. I don't know rules but people do. They got playground and benches and tables. There's probably mosquitoes so take some repellant. It has a running trail which I like to do
