I never thought I’d like pate or onion soup but this place has me craving both even after ive moved to another city. Their cream puffs are fantastic too.

The French onion soup is amazing! Made with chicken broth, which is different than I am used to, but really nice!

Super friendly staff.

This place is a true gem. The French sandwiches are unmatched by any place here in San Antonio and the ambiance is quaint yet authentic. The owner is friendly and it just feels good. It’s not fancy or pretentious, it’s just a great French sandwich shop.

I like coming here but every table was dirty and no place to sit down. We had to wait to get a clean table.

Seriously the best French Onion soup in the world. The sandwiches are simple and well made, and the Vietnamese twist on French classics is executed perfectly. Whenever we go in there's no one there, which is mind-boggling, because it's amazing every time. Don't sleep on this hidden gem!

I was looking forward to trying out my favorite sandwich spot from my childhood while I was visiting family in town. The hours posted are wrong.

Google says they close at 6pm. Sign on door says 5pm. Then walking into the restaurant at 4pm I was told they were closed early because of an appointment. Poor communication, no sign was posted on the door whatsoever that they were going to close early that day.

First timer here and I was very impressed. I had the turkey club sandwich on a croissant with French onion soup. I also had a coffee du monde, which was excellent. The place was very cute too, with plants here and there and artwork on the walls. Do yourself a favor: eat a healthy little lunch and support this local business! Bon Appétit!

One of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The bread was perfect, the french onion soup was incredibly flavorful, and the coffee was killer.

Have been here a few times for lunch and really like it. Casual, affordable, clean spot with really delicious soup and sandwiches.

Can't believe it took me so long to try this place. Will be back soon for sure. I had the pork banh mi and it was fantastic. The pork was super flavorful and the veggies were crisp and fresh. Great combination.

I wasn't blown away, but it's good. The sandwiches are pretty small. The pickles are tasty, but the sandwich felt like it was going for something "elegant" with the light portions and presentation, but it didn't really accomplish that for me. Although it tasted very good, I felt a little underwhelmed.

Best soup, sandwich combo I've had. Fresh ingredients and bread, lightly toasted, with a yummy little French pastry on the side. Very clean, great service and price.

I just moved to SA and I’ve been looking for cheap eats. This place is a bargain. Sandwiches come with soup or salad or chips. Can’t beat that!

Trying to find a good breakfast/lunch place during the holidays before New Years and failed after driving to 2 closed restaurants. I decided to call this one before I started driving again, and it was open. For good reason. No regrets on the great find.

It is located in The Oaks shopping plaza, relatively easy to find between Fredericksburg road and Wurzbach road, between A&M nails and Smoke N More. It shares the parking lot with the rest of the stores in the plaza but there is usually plenty of parking.

Ordered the French Grilled Tuna sandwich w Croissant. Amazing! Came with a wonderfully prepared and presented small salad and a sweet pastry. The croissant is crispy on the outside and warm on the inside. The pastry was a cream puff that was very delicious. Such a good deal with everything included! Not a lot of store does that anymore bc it’s usually an added charge!

Owner Duc is from Vietnam and has opened for over 30 years (since 1990), extremely friendly and with great customer service.

Will definitely come back again when in the area to try out other dishes. Keep up the great work French Sanswiches!
